Gus fried chicken outside the team hotel in Atlanta was real good. Best I have eaten.

I'm sure Coach O loved when trump said it sounds like he has laryngitis. Jesus fricking christ what a dipshit

Didn’t look too excited...
I think that was Logan. He turned his head once and I saw green dreads. He certainly didnt look excited. Chase and Jefferson didnt look excited either. But I thought they all handled it with a lot of class - didnt cause a scene, didnt make faces, were respectful, etc. Very proud of all of our guys today.

I also think he won 2 championships while an assistant coach at Miami under Jimmy Johnson
I think O joined Miami after the 87 season (Jimmy's first title) and continued under Erickson for a few years.
So, O was at Miami for the 88 title with Jimmy and the 89 and 91 with Erickson.
I think that is right.

Great visit with the President

I like him. Seems to be sincere and quite humble.
OK, I get it, all the Trump supporters are just giddy about the WH visit, but...
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not... I mean, c'mon, man- describing Trump (or really ANY politician) as "sincere" is quite a stretch, but "HUMBLE"... ??? Seriously? You talking about massive ego, can't stop bragging about himself, "I am the greatest ever, chosen one" Trump? There have been thousands of adjectives used to describe Trump, but I'm fairly certain that you are the first to use "humble"...that's GOT to be a joke, right?

God bless our handsome President - easily the best of our lifetimes

Coach O said it was also the best fried chicken he's ever eaten
Todd Graves is going to put a stop payment on that last check
Raising Cane's doesn't qualify as fried chicken. It is unseasoned fried chicken tenders and some Thousand Island kinda sauce that you have to dip with to have any flavor. Make that sauce and kick it up a notch and it would be twice as good.
Fried chicken is Popeyes' spicy or Delpit's Chicken Shack.

Definitely a distinction between tenders and bone on fried chicken. Bone on is far superior to tenders

The original Gus’s is in Memphis. Well worth the trip and the invariable wait.

Is the fried chicken that good?

This. It's what seems to be lost on folks now--respect for the President, the Office, regardless of whether you voted for him or not. I don't know what happened to that.

As for Trump turning blacks off... doesn't seem to be the case with anyone who's ever met him. Herschel Walker would fight someone today over his friendship, Money Mayweather loved him, Kanye loved him. Oprah did until he became president. The only times anyone talks bad about him, they're just parroting political bullshite. And that's not about the man, it's a Dem tactic and would apply to anybody.

Doesn't matter, All conducted themselves in a respectful manner and for that I am proud of how they represented LSU and Louisiana.

The point is they were mature and kept politics out of the event. This was about the leader of our country honoring them for the their accomplishments. I am proud as hell of these guys as players and as young men.
