High marks for keeping Aranda a Tiger and making Canada hire. Low marks for the slow start in 2017.

High marks for rebounding after the losses, deserving because coach O overcame numerous injuries.

Extremely high marks for addressing LSU’s immediate needs in recruiting, 32 schools including 12 SEC schools loss to Orgeron in chasing after the two top Juco players, and top wide receiver.

2018 will really come fast, spring is not far away and the battle for 1st string QB will be the most exciting in many years.

B-/C+

Possibly for a solid B depending on how we look in the bowl.

look at who he coached against this year. Just about every one of them got fired. We lost to Troy at home. Yes he did a great job turning it around but next year will tell a lot about where he and the program is at. This year he gets a pass. Next year he will either float or sink.

C+

9-3 isn't bad, but this was a very bad SEC. I would have had him at an F after troy. He was an A- post-Troy.

B

You can't really get any higher with the Troy loss

Also, if we get embarrassed by Notre Dame that grade will go much lower.

B. A 6-2 SEC season is a good record and the team looked very well coached towards the end. Had Troy not happened, I’d give him an A-. 10-2 (6-2) would have been on the high end of my expectations first year.

I suppose losing to LSU had nothing at all to do with that.

Year could've been a lot worse but he turned it around.

With all these new coaches coming in, this may be the best record Orgeron has.

B grade sounds legit, next year will be Orgeron’s true test, will he learn from past early season mistakes, will he develop a QB or damage that QBs confidence.

The only negative I heard from LSU players was Orgeron’s handling of the kickers and their confidence, one player noted “it is what it is we just have to deal with it.”

Every coach that got fired was going to get fired regardless of an LSU loss and Jones was fired before we played Tennessee.

D+. That’s all I can give based on the crappy schedule and losses were bad.

New coaches will be under pressure just like coach O, SEC is a tough place to hold a job, but a great place to hit the jackpot$$$

I am gonna say C+

We looked shitty on all sides of the ball for the first half the year. Unmotivated, and lackadaisical. I thin the QB management was damn close to atrocious.

Second half we looked a lot better. We played shitty teams but we generaly handled them, and we beat really good auburn. We looked competent against ama but still lost.

I can't really grade recruiting becase 1. we aren't dont 2. i don't know how it will pan out.

We addressed a lot of need (OL, DL and RB) but we didn't go out and top 5 RB, DT or OL. At the same time i Really like guys like Chris Curry.

So i thin C+ is fair. if we handle Notre Dame and finish with Chase and Curtain i will bump him to a B.

C-

The manner of loss to Mississippi State and the loss to Troy should very well have made it a D-.

Beating Auburn, and finishing the season strong brought it back up.

Good news in recruiting and new OL coach are offset by the Canada fiasco.

A convincing win in the bowl and positive resolution to the Canada situation could bump it to C+

If he would have beaten State and Troy and have us in the top 5 in crootin I would give an A. Beating those two teams was very realistic and would have reached the team's full potential. The team wasn't ready to play at the beginning of the year and did not reach its full potential and the recruiting class is a step behind usual.C is my grade.

No way a D plus, at worse a C at best a B plus. Orgeron overcame a great deal, he overcame negative comments from SEC coaches recruiting against LSU and overcame numerous negative posts on TD, he signed a spectacular class. Now comes the coaching.
