There is little accountability for the HC, when we rely so heavily on highly paid coordinators for the actual coaching.
You can conclude O has questionable management skill after a slow start, two bad losses and an ongoing feud with the OC. Special teams were too spotty and recruiting, supposedly a strong suit, has slipped a bit from Les’ classes in quality, but compensated with good linemen. Finished well against weak opponents. Better sideline organization and time management.
Overall worried about O’s management skills, judgment and ability to run a whole, ethical, coherent program.

A very bad SEC with two teams in the playoffs and more teams in the top 25 than any other conference? I would not say a banner year, but to call it bad is exaggeration.

F ++ because he can't win over the Rantards.

Actually I'd give him a solid C. No better than Miles, but it's his first year and he has a ton of negative baggage to get through IOT win over our fan base and the HS recruits that have opposing Coaches in their ear.

7th last year and probably about the same this year is slipping? Miles averaged 7th nationally and 3rd in the SEC while here...pretty much what we have been in 17 & 18....with a down year for in state prospects

I'll give him a C+. Once he got out of the way and started serving water to the players on the bench, I'll give him an A-.

D+. Historic 30 point loss to MSU, breaking a 49 home game out of conference win streak against Troy on homecoming, and bickering with the new high priced OC. Did a good job recovering against a bad SEC. Those 2 are huge flunks.

look at who he coached against this year.

ITE the same coaches Nick Saban and Les Miles have been coaching against for the last 5 years. It isn’t O’s fault a bunch of Coaches got fired. He went 6-2 in the SEC. There shouldn’t be a caveat.

If you think we’re 7th this year, you are cherry picking the rating systems.
With luck, we’ll end up 10 or 11.

I give CEO a B+ on his first season. He did a good job with what he had other than the Troy game. Miles was a C his last year so this is an improvement but I expect an A next year. Geaux Tigers.

Who cares.... What if they had not been fired???

I hate this................

YOU PLAY WHO is in front of you... I do not care who the other coach is or where said program is at........... You play to win.. Its NOT O's Fault where other programs are... SO IF Miles was still here and the same thing happened.. would we be saying the same about him?????????????????

I'd give him a C.The entire month of September would probably be a D at the best. Florida game, maybe a C+. The team looked like shite but at least we were fortunate enough to win the game.

The Auburn game would be a B. The team looked terrible the first 20 to 25 minutes of the game but looked unstoppable after that. They looked fairly decent for the remainder of the season, but there weren't any teams worth a shite other than Bama.

Depending on how the team looks in their bowl game, perhaps a grade of C+ if they look good, C- if they don't.

C. LSU should never lose to miss state by 30 Losing to Troy is unacceptable. Plus another loss to bama by two touchdowns He beat auburn good win and beat teams he should have.

I'm going to say an incomplete. On the downside State is a good team, but LSU was dominated. A competitive loss can be lived with, but that performance was an embarrassment. LSU had zero turnovers in the game...simply unbelievable. Troy...enough said. I know they won 11 games, but look at that schedule. UF win by one point is not much better. Apparent feud with Matt Canada is puzzling. Hell he was just hired by O, and now O wants a pro offense? Stevens position changed three times is puzzling with little playing time at any of them?

Upside is Auburn win and beating the other seven average to bad teams on the schedule with relative ease. Keeping last years class together and beating a reeling but good Louisville team in the bowl. This year's class seems good and may turn out great, we will have a better idea two years from now. The new coach at OL looks good, but he was an assistant OL coach in the NFL, but his teams had good production.

Next year will tell more. The SEC overall had three very solid teams this year. LSU and State were decent and the rest were average/bad.
