Dear Advocate,
This is not a good way of selling (market) your product. However it is a good way to get some to cancel your product. It will make some question your agenda. You seem to be on a mission to harm LSU. The media is helded is such LOW regard today and questions like that reaffirm that opinion.

I would imagine the Advocate pays absolute shite for reporters, so they scrape the bottom of the barrel when it comes to getting an LSU beat writer.

they hire kids a year out of college after they cut their teeth on HS sports in some podunk town. Writer is just happy to be there so they pay them next to nothing.

Reporter asks question about why coach wasn’t demonstrating with his team.

Appropriate responses would have been:
A. I was there.
B. I had other obligations.
C. The team handled it very well without my involvement. I felt it best to keep a distance.

Coach’s angry response:
“Why don’t you come and ask me?”

The Rant: “Hooray Coach! Way to stick it to the media. We don’t like when reporters ask questions that might have unfavorable outcomes! Get back to reporting about how this entire recruiting class is going to be All-American!”

It was a straight-up shite-stirring pussy question to begin with? Asking "Why weren't you with them?" regarding a social justice march is trying to make O uncomfortable. He should have said, "Because I'm a fricking football coach and I'm not a social worker, my job is to coach football. Next question."

There is no "right" answer he could have given the media to placate them. Reporters have a narrative they want to discuss and simply ask questions to get quotes to fit that narrative. Plus, because of the current ridiculous climate, O can't give his honest answer, which I suspect would sound something like this:

"I didn't participate because I didn't know my players were going to skip practice, unexcused, to conduct a wholly illogical "protest". One where they marched to the schools president's office to demand completely nebulous and unspecified "action" to solve a "problem" (alleged excessive police violence) that the school president literally cannot solve even if he wanted to. What I really wanted to do is run their asses for deciding on their own to break team rules and skip a practice we had scheduled. But I can't, because you bozos would become apoplectic and write ridiculous and divisive stories further fanning flames of discord because that is ALL you do. So you can take this response as a veiled F-you, because I'd rather not have to deal with you all anyway...on any topic."

You tard. You honestly believe the media is going to be fair and honest with any response given by O? Just look at the assbag Ryan Clark. The only thing O did was say he liked Trump and what he was doing, in regards to getting the country rolling again. And unhinged leftists, like yourself, think that any person that gives the President props for doing the right thing is Hitler. Go suck off leftist rags on the PT board. Here is not the place.

Wow! everyone of those responses after the fact would have buried Coach O .
A. I was there. --If he wasnt then labeled a liar.
B. I had other obligations. --Wow marching for justice not priority one?Not good coach O
C. The team handled it very well without my involvement. I felt it best to keep a distance.
--So a head coach keeping his distance and saying he wasnt involved. Then they have it in his own words i didnt want to get involved.Ouch!

Yeah glad you arent advising anyone

The response was that way because he has answered this question already and the reporter knows that he's already answered it. He wanted to ask again to stir the national narrative. But of course that may be too much for you to handle.

Kubena also wrote an article recently with a misleading headline about Wade. The headline mentioned LSU basketball and bribery. If money goes to a player to play, that is not bribery, but would be considered illegal compensation by The NCAA. Bribery would be a legal or criminal allegation. Kubena should be fired by the Advocate, IMO!
