This is flat out untrue. It happened two times: 2014 and 2015.

You sound like an actual retard saying LSU struggled wth Arkansas and UGA in 2011, two teams LSU beat by 28 and 30, respectively. That was a #3 ranked Arkansas and a top 10 UGA squad that LSU whipped, btw.

Playoffs should be the reasonable goal next year.

Actually, O was quoted after the bowl game last season that the playoffs was the goal this year. So, with that not happening I see no reason to think next year shouldn’t be our year. That is, unless someone wants to begin the excuse list early.

Takin snaps and starting a few games is not relying on freshmen.

Quit posting that. It’s useless.

Go head a take a look at the starting lineup and snaps taken all year.

Thy BYU game really props up your numbers too. SUSPENSIONS.

Orgeron has done some good things and his first year should be considered a success. Next year is the test though. There are 7 games this program could legitimately lose. If you finish next season 9-3 again, I think that would be a good step.

That was mostly coached by O

but up from the year before so kinda irrelevant

Actually that is the last full season Miles coached, so I thin it is at east a little relevant.

Man, they have already started their excuses.

At least TigerReetread agrees playoffs are expected next year.

The fact that anyone would say something about Aranda in a game where LSU scores 0 points in the first half should have the banhammer come down on them with a quickness so they can no longer spread their stupidity.

saban's first team in BR was loaded. I'll make only one reference to players. He had three future NFL QBs waiting to greet him at the airport.

When is the last time you went into an LSU football season feeling this way?

If you went into every year feeling this way , you missed out on a helluva run the last decade and a half.

More proof expectations have successfully been lowered.

LSU has always played young guys. Year in and year out.

This year was no different. And this “over 30 redshirt and true freshmen” nonsense , is such an obvious self defense mechanism. LSU played 5-6 freshmen with any regularity.

Not since 2005 has LSU played as many freshmen as this season. Not since WWII has LSU started a true freshmen on the O-line in the first game of the season. I just made another post with all of this information. It comes from the LSU website. Geaux argue with them if you don't like the facts that prove you wrong.

quote:

LSU played a horrid schedule. Two wins over winning records.

And a 9-3 record, national ranking and bowl game. Not bad for a first year HC with a new OC having to play over 30 freshmen.

quote:

Recruiting class that is below LSU’s consistent standards.

Didn't realize that 24/7 has changed their composite ratings in the last couple of days, huh? You need to check out the recruiting board before spouting stupid bullshite about it.

quote:

Edward Orgeron was not a typical first year coach. He’s been here for awhile.

Isn't that the case for most interim coaches. What makes him the most successful interim coach ever? The only one ever to take over two programs and lead them to national rankings, winning records and bowl games? ONLY ONE EVER.

quote:

Edward Orgeron has never run his own successful program as a HC

This year was successful. The fires he made last year after taking over were successful.

quote:

but I’m not using hypocrisy to prop him up.

No but you sure are arguing everything under the sun to tear him down. Great LSU fandom you have, Congrats !!!!

quote:

He should be held to a higher standard,

Why's that?

quote:

but the expectations being lowered clearly speaks volumes about what all you Edward Orgeron fanboys really think about his capabilities

Damn, and I thought you were going to "use hypocrisy to prop him up." Ha Ha Ha

Expectations have not been lowered? Maybe you did, I don't know. I didn't expect LSU to win the national championship this year with a 1st year HC and 1st year OC. That was before knowing about all of the injuries and academics and having to start and play all of the freshmen in key positions.

If you have lowered expectations, that is something you need to deal with. Don't accuse others of doing something just because you did it.

If you think the LSU defense should give up as many or more points to Troy as they did to Auburn, A&M and Bama, more power to you. If you can't take facts of the game maybe you should ban yourself from the board.

LSU gave up 24 points to Troy. 14 of the 24 came in the 2nd half of the game.

Give me your prediction for next year ...let’s get you on record.

You don’t expect the playoffs?

When will this Edward Orgeron led program take the next step forward beyond 9 win seasons and bowl games for a 10 win?

Miles was doing that with regularity. Edward Orgeron is supposed to bring this program to the playoffs . His own words. Why do you disagree with him?
