You are aware that isn’t what his hiring was based on right? It was a “we can move forward without hesitation” hire. Continuity was the key word.

This is why coach O and his supporters are a joke.

Blame it on others when we lose, give him credit when we win. fricking idiots and Tiger Ree leads the bunch.

Slower starts I would disagree I like Les but his first half offense was not good but that had to do with his smash mouth play it down at pay off untill mid 3rd to 4th that is if in the first 2 and a half quarters you move the chains unfortunately we were unable to do this against stout defense's

Still doesn't make your bullshite proof of anything.

One of those years LSU had a first year head coach.

One of those years LSU played over 30 true and RS freshmen with 12 of those starting games during the first 7 games of the season. May have been more after that.

Can we do a comparison of 2017 LSU to 1930 LSU. That's the one I really wonder about. Everything except SOS should be identical. Well, except for the no facemask thing and taking trains to away games. Other than that it will all be exactly the same.

For the idiots it's NC or bust. Doesn't matter if it was his first year with a 1st year OC and having to play over 30 freshmen.

it is premature to judge Ed Orgeron as the HC at LSU. there has been some bad and some good in his FIRST YEAR. at least the games are more fun than before. I wish we all would just let his tenure play itself out. if he fails, he'll be fired; if he succeeds, he'll be extended. I expect joe alleva will retire before the answer is found out anyway.

I’ve enjoyed seeing us not waste time before the half. We’ve seen some attempts to actually salvage a scoring opportunity.

IMO Coach Oaux and his staff have done a great job recovering from cripping losses in September. He righted the ship and finished strong. In my book that speaks volumes about the effectiveness and coaching ability of this HC and his staff.

Now negatigers......go do what you do so bad!

As it is the exact opposite for the haters.

You think LSU should have given up 24 points to Troy? They have a top 10 defense, not offense.

LSU gave up less points to Auburn and A&M than they did to the Troy Trojans. Bama had just as many points as Troy.

Who is responsible for that?

Good . Then playing so many freshmen should eliminate the “team is young excuse”.

How many years in a row can a team be young? Hahahha LSU has always played young guys.

LSU has 51 active players on NFL rosters. They didn’t leave after their senior year.

You Edward Orgeron fans seem to have just started watching LSU football. It’s either that OR you’re just a hypocrite using excuses for failure.

TigerReediculous , at least we agree on next year. I expect LSU to win no less than 10 regular season games and the West. Playoffs should be the reasonable goal next year.

Getting tired of copying and pasting so here is the link to a post from earlier. This is after seven games into the season. All of the information comes from the LSU website. Read-em-an-weep:

A few posts below the one linked is the list that shows the 8 true and 4 RS freshmen who started games this year.

Go ahead and start the excuse list for next season. It’s your specialty.

Then dispute what I said.

LSU has always played young guys. Year in and year out.

This year was no different. And this “over 30 redshirt and true freshmen” nonsense , is such an obvious self defense mechanism. LSU played 5-6 freshmen with any regularity.

LSU didn’t rely on freshmen to carry the season.

LSU played a horrid schedule. Two wins over winning records.

30 point prison rape to State.
HOMECOMING loss to Troy.
Double digit loss to Bama .
Recruiting class that is below LSU’s consistent standards.

Edward Orgeron was not a typical first year coach. He’s been here for awhile.

Edward Orgeron has never run his own successful program as a HC. Time will tell , but I’m not using hypocrisy to prop him up.

He should be held to a higher standard, but the expectations being lowered clearly speaks volumes about what all you Edward Orgeron fanboys really think about his capabilities.
