I’ve been to 4 different away venues and every team is amazed at the development of our team after troy!!!! This includes Alabama.

I live in aggieland and all of them said LSU got better as the year went on after Troy.

Why can’t Disgruntled Lsu fans admit that?

Because Troy. Happened.

How is this not obvious? The fact that O put the team in a position with a loss to Troy in the first place is troubling. Regardless of how he got them out....he also got them in, and the assumption is that he got them there by meddling, which is exactly the problem he was supposed to correct.

LSU was lost offensively early

How is that any different from any number of games you can watch on any given Sat.? Seems I recall Aub. starting out on fire when they played us. How did that work out for them?

It's amusing to watch LSU fans complain bout a SEC title game win by 42-10 cause we started slow.

A brutal schedule, a young team, a new starting QB with virtually no meaningful experience, and potentially an entirely new offensive system. It's going to be a difficult year.
excuses starting early.

#1 should be: LSU is now running a modern offense!

The rest of your post is spot on. I was not thrilled with the hire of O, but playing on New Year's Day with a chance to go 10-3 is what I had hoped for this season. There is some work to do recruiting wise, but the arrow is pointing up and we are about to hand the ball to Brennan. We are in much better hands now than we were with Les post 2011.

. I think we are a better second half team than under Les Miles.

Stopped rt here, Les has the record for 4th quarter comebacks.

So you already are just making shite up.

Plus we've seen clock issues already. It happens, if o gets to 130+ games as coach, you will notice it more.

And he didn't have the team prepared to start the season, breaking records for penalties, getting pushed around by cuse, state and Troy.

You Derek alters spew so much false shite to pump up o it's gotten ridiculous.

How bout this, when Les is calling plays he has beat Saban and won a title. When Ed o gets in the way, they lose to fricking Troy.

A brutal schedule

One of the most brutal i can recall

quote:

a young team

How does a young team this year = a young team next year? Which is it?

quote:

a new starting QB with virtually no meaningful experience

Yea, but according to the rant Brennan is the next coming of Peyton Manning and Narcisse is Michael Vick transported back to college via time machine.

and potentially an entirely new offensive system

This could present a significant problem for the O regime. Especially if the results aren't there.

It all depends on leadership. On paper, every team we play next season we should be able to go toe to toe with.

I'm scared of what this board is going to look like next fall. A brutal schedule, a young team, a new starting QB with virtually no meaningful experience, and potentially an entirely new offensive system. It's going to be a difficult year.

Outside of the brutal schedule, everything else is controllable and the potential pitfalls are revealed when you lack a true central vision to the program outside of "Hire the Best." When you have vision and a consistent system or philosophy, a young or new starting QB can rely on the system to support them. Same for young players, when the vision is clear, and everyone buys into it, the pitfalls of youth and inexperience can be managed.

How else do you think there are teams who are consistently competitive. They have to deal with youth, new QB's and key positions all of the time.

And don't get me started on "potentially a new offensive system," this was the exact issue with a plan like this. O does not get a pass because he might have to hire again.
