My daughter is going to love this cat. She's 2 and says, "let's ride Clyde!" When we leave the house.

In all honesty it appears Monroe's feet are not where they should be so that put-down looks worse.
Clyde The Glide looks like a mini Earl Campbell in that footage.

They are wearing helmets and shoulder pads. Did you expect Monroe to put a hat on him below the waist?

this is the best comparison. Dalton had the biggest legs I've seen on a short guy. Tree trunks.
In no way is he anything like Barry. Barry had the best change of direction with speed, vision and balance that has ever played football and it isn't close. Smith certainly didn't have the speed and body control of sanders. He had a much better Oline in Dallas.
Had Eric Andolsek not gotten killed, Sanders would have the record.

Said it before, don't sleep on Clyde. He's gonna make LSU proud before he's done

I wonder if every single second of every practice is actually recorded or if someone has to manually film.

I can tell you from experience that "every single second of every practice" is not recorded. However, the important 1 on 1 drills, important intra-squad drills (like 7 on 7 or 9 on 7) and full O or full D and full team drills and scrimmages are from more than 1 angle.

LSU employs a squad of 3-5 students who film practices and games and another set of students who download the footage and upload it to whatever software they are using to watch film these days.

And yes, the players, through whatever device (probably tablet) that the school issues have access to their position, their side of the ball (O or D) and all team practice video, as well as game film and opponent film for study.

No he is bigger and basically the same size Emmitt Smith played at throughout his NFL career. Unlike Sanders, looks like Clyde LOVES contact.

CEH looks more like Nick Chubb. Hes gonna be exciting to watch when he gets his time to shine. Looks like our running game after Guice and Williams is in good hands.

Monroe gets the business.

I don't mean to rain on the CEH parade, but Monroe won that battle, hands down.

You have a one on one matchup in the open field. The DB got him out of bounds with perhaps two yards after contact. That's a nice play by Monroe.

Contrast that play with the famous one in which Kenny Hilliard threw the Ole Miss player out of bounds and was still running.

That's what I thought when I saw him in high school. Could be special if he can stay healthy.

A good friend of mine is a saints coach. They film everything. If he takes his group out for a few minutes of drills its filmed. They review everything and like a record in case of injury.

Clyde has a decent change of direction also.

CEH - 2016 highlights - youtube

This poor kid thought he had the tackle. Like Moses in the gif, he totally whiffed.

CEH gained 7 yards after Monroe initially contacted him.
