People need to keep in mind that this is just Chris Landrys opinion. I mean he could be right but also could be wrong.Nothing written in stone hear. FWIW, Dude never had anything good to say about Les Miles when he was here either.

He's a Saban lover but shite I don't need a scout to tell me saban is a good coach.

I love the point about the Florida win. I was truly blown away at how loud the O supporters were after we tried to give a win away to a really crappy gator team. I honestly wasn't encouraged by that win at all, other than I was expecting us to get blown out of the water.

Joe and O need to be shown the door.

Keep Aranda and Canada and (dare I say it) bring back Miles.

Joe Alleva should be fired yesterday. He should have been fired numerous times since his hire. Our AD will crumble under him.

I wish people would quit saying this. As garbage as the Orgeron hire was, there were better options out there than the both of them.

Does he fancy himself the college version of Jerry Jones?

Sounds like it. The whole thing is disturbing and does not bode well going forward. Also, if true, it highlights the biggest issue which is LSU will never truly succeed again until Alleva is dismissed because he has set himself up as the puppetmaster.

It's a problem when the coordinators don't respect the HC's accumen due to lack of knowledge on running an offense and/or defense.
This is a serious problem that we're always going to run into with O. It's easy to have a lack of respect for a HC who is a career dline coach.

Yeah none of this is my opinion. It's either directly quoted or paraphrased from the podcast. I tried to put quotes around everything I took word for word.

This was a disaster from the get go.

A head coach who was hired with specific instructions and promised NOT to coach.

Who the frick thought this was a good idea.

And the fact that Alleva seems to think he the de facto HC is even worse.

He is the first domino that needs to fall.

It seems a safe bet that both coordinators are gone next year and I can't imagine any half decent ones joining this shitfest.

How bad will it be when O doesn't have good coordinators to actually do all the coaching.

This aptly summarizes the concern that most detractors had with the O hire.

I think some are getting hung up on the words...

Whether calling the plays, deciding who calls the plays, managing the coordinators, it doesn't matter... the story here is Alleva is meddling with the coaches.

I added your recap to my post, because it is absolutely worse when spelled out than what I quickly portrayed and paraphrased in the other thread. That's why I want people to listen to the podcast. This is an absolute circus if Landry's sources are accurate.

Who's to say they dont respect him? All this shite is opinion. Unless someone has directly talk to Aranda or Canada. They have no idea.

many of us called this at the time of the hire. if you are smarter than your boss and can do things that he can't, why is he your boss? the CEO garbage is so stupid, and it doesn't help that O's IQ is like 80. can't wait for him and Alleva to get canned. neither are long-term assets for LSU

this is so, so, so, so true and was correctly predicted by many

- Concern going forward is will Orgeron meddle the next time something is not working well.

The head coach needs to be competent enough and able to get involved with his staff whenever needed in order to evaluate and guide the team through issues as they develop. After all, it is his responsibility. Obviously, this is beyond O's ability.

- Alleva told coordinators "they are in charge" and did so in front of Orgeron. Re-emphasized the lack of respect to the HC in doing so. Gives coordinators too much power.

- What is Alleva so involved? Paraphrasing: "That's what he's always wanted and he did not get that with Les Miles. That's why he hired Orgeron. He wanted to have the ability to put his two cents in. It's his toy. Les Miles, nor any other coach, would put up with that."

Just more proof of Alleva's and O's incompetence. Both need to go before they all but destroy LSU football.

It's almost like dozens if not hundreds of people said this EXACT thing on the fricking day Orgeron was hired. But we were told we were "miserable" and "wanted Oeaux to fail!!1" or some shite. God our fanbase is retarded
