Well of course he is right and it "mostly) gets back to $. What fan base is gonna travel and spend that $. LSU being new to the CFB playoff with a Heisman QB - we are so excited our nips erect and we are scooping up tix, buying flights and making travel plans to go to BFE. Clemson and Ohio State are big soft pepperoni slice aireolas who are tired and bored with post season travel, what with the Bowl game at NYE and the Championships. That's a lot of $.

The 2 best teams are LSU and Clemson. Either of them would boatrace Ohio State by 2 TD's. Either of them would be the first team Ohio State has played this year who has more than 4 players on the field with better than 4.8 speed.

Absolutely, LSU can't slip up because I think they will bump them out of the top 4 with a loss Saturday because I think they know who the alpha dog is and would love desperately for LSU not to be there.

Only one thing LSU can do to dispute this...beat the living hell out of everyone else from here on.

It's all moot if LSU loses Saturday.

Same if tOSU loses. That'd make me chuckle.

That other Wisconsin loss besides OSU must be a good loss, who did they lose to again?

Illinois? oh that's right

I think we beat UGA by 11-17. Clemson 10-14, and Ohio St. by 10. Aranda has been sitting on secret defensive playbook.

If LSU loses to Georgia it would be impossible to make the case they are “the alpha dog”.

Minessota beat PSU H2H and has the same amount of losses, 8 spots lower.

Michigan beat ND H2H and is being used as the basis to be ranked ahead of ND, despite having 1 extra loss.

UF's resume is nowhere near Wisconsin's resume.

Wisky has 3 top 20 wins, with a 30 point win on the road included
UF has a win over #11 at home
That's not their resumes.

He's basically echoing what I have been saying for two weeks.

The bullshite CFP committee justifies their actions via their bogus so-called "eye test" that basically is a smokescreen for the committee members to inject their anti-SEC bias into the process.

For instance, no way was Penn State the number 8 team in the country after they were totally dominated by lowly Minnesota. As logically Penn State deserved to be ranked below lowly Minnesota. However, the bullshite CFP committee employed their bogus so-called "eye test" scam to rank Penn State the number 8 team in their bogus poll to pad Ohio State's resume so they could steal the number one seed position away from LSU to screw over the SEC.

In fact, the bullshite CFP committee still ranks Penn State number 10 after they were inevitably beaten by Ohio State instead of number 19 behind lowly Minnesota that totally dominated Penn State.

Listening to Stanford Steve and The Bear Pod and The Bear brings up an interesting conspiracy theory. He thinks they may have dropped Bama that much to keep them out of at NY6 Bowl game because all of their Draft Eligible guys are going to skip the bowl game.

he's not wrong

the committee's infatuation with Penn St has been so weird. They love to laud that W up as this huge feather in tOSU's cap. What in the frick has that team done to deserve that kind of respect?

Clay Travis annoys me more than just about any of the talking heads, but that dude comes out swinging when he thinks something is out of line.

This is the correct answer. It’s about the money. It’s a multi billion dollar industry where the championship is controlled by a committee.

This is the one I can't wrap my head around. I've watched PSU several times this year and they aren't a top 10 team. It's not really even that close from what I've seen. They have a solid defense but not dominant and their offense is really up and down.

They're acting like the wins over Michigan and Penn State were massive. Neither one of those teams was ever a real contender for anything.
