Yep. I was a kid and rarely got to attend games. One Saturday my dad's friend gave him tickets to a day game, and I was SO excited--finally getting another trip to Tiger Stadium! As we were walking up to the west side, there were entire stacks of tickets laying on top of the trash cans outside the gate. You could have walked up, grabbed a ticket, and just walked in.

That was either late Archer era or early Hallman days. Regardless, I've been cognizant of LSU football since Bill Arnsbarger.

Same. I remember being at his last game against USM. A loss of course. Kids were reading books and studying in the student section. Maybe 25K at the game.

In. Attended 89-92. Basketball was king. That Duke game was incredible.
