Why would TCU even be in the running? Did he grow up a TCU fan or something? That would be a downgrade from Tennessee

That aside, I suspect this is largely (if not fully) a NIL decision. By entering the portal he has declared himself to be an unrestricted free agent. Who is going to offer the biggest "contract"?
