get well soon. dude is a beast. his sack/fumble on JPW on the bama game a few years back still gives most bama fans nightmares

I'm sure the Dr. did a great job but saying the best surgeon in the country would be at one of New Orleans' shitty hospitals is a bit too much to believe.
University Hospital puts Grady to shame, brah.

I've lost control of my truck on St. Charles near Lee Circle on the tracks.
If you were not under the influence of anything you were either driving waaay too fast or not paying attention, fooling with you phone or something.
When someone as young as CJ is in an accident at that time of morning, people are going to naturally assume alcohol was involved.

That's what I'm saying. I wasn't paying attention. Stupid mistake, but could have been bad had there not been more road. There on carrolton there isn't any room left.

Just watched a bunch of vids of him, makes me sad
. I really do believe he will recovery in some way, just a long hard road ahead of him. Good look CJ

that has happened to me on St Charles before when i was sober and paying attention but never Carrolton. also St Charles is much narrower, at that spot on Carrolton its 3 wide lanes.

although he may never play football again, the fact that he survived is amazing after seeing the pictures of his vehicle. i hope he was not under the influence of anything

quote:I believe there was significant artery damage and that is why there were reports of a possible amputation. Then he had comminuted fractures of both the tibia and fibula. So I could see 8 hours. But it seems that he made it out with established blood flow so that is a good sign.
I am of the opinion that they may be having trouble establishing blood flow to his foot which I hope is not the case. Didn't I read that there was a major vessel damaged during the accident and there was a significant amount of blood loss?

Not that it matters but on N. Carrollton where this happened it is much wider than anywhere on St. Charles Ave. He had to be going rather fast to do that much damage to the Land Rover and he unfortunately hit an immovable object.
