I'm watching the UCLA/TCU game as well. It made me a little teary-eyed.

They showed a list of CJ's accomplishments at LSU and gave a brief summary of what happened.

A couple of highlights from Chad pitching at Rosenblatt last year, and put up one of those profiles on the screen with his accomplishments in football and baseball, and the announcers talked about the accident and what a great guy he was when they met him last year

Met Chad last season in Seattle the day before the Washington game. He took a picture with me in front of the team bus. He said "yes sir" and "no sir" the whole time and was very humble. I remember most his smile and quiet demeanor. Great kid, excellent representative of LSU and Louisiana and I certainly wish him the best and I will contiue to pray for his recovery.

I have been reading this thread all afternoon. It has been a sad day. I remember him pitching last year. Good times.

When Chad was drafted, I thought immediately that I was destined to become a big fan of the Giants D. I've always loved to watch Corey Webster. To see Chad on the field with Corey would have been such a thrill.

Wish I had something to say that would make a difference. I'm really sad for Chad, for his family, for the Giants, and for the whole Tiger Nation.

Sure appears so. Sounds like he was in the hands of some great doctors.

I already posted once before and said that I was praying for Chad and his family. Thanks to the ones who are posting legitimate updates. Any speculation is not needed at this time. We should be respectful and concerned, I was afraid that some posters would be ignorant but how can they change. Prayers are what is needed and loving concern. I am very sad about this event.

Just read an article on Yahoo said that the passengers said he turned the wheel abruptly to get off of the streetcar tracks and the vehicle rolled over.

Brand new Range Rover - (especially if it had the adjustable suspension and he had it on the "high water" setting accidentally)... Shifts that center of gravity waaaaaaaaaaaaay up...
