The amount of posters here that outright expect a road win vs #1 squad is unreasonable.

Good, let Clemson bask in its own glory all offseason and feel themselves. I hope no one even mentions us.

And we are #5, so what’s your point? Also I like Pate, but just because Josh Pate says Clemson is the best team in the land does not automatically make it true.

I don’t think anybody is expecting a win, but wanting one and thinking we have a good chance instead. LSU is going 10-2 floor next year, and can strive for even better than that.

He has us at 5.

BK losing openers is a major problem. He has to win a big game at some point.

I will say this. If we lose another opening game I at least want it to be against the #1 team in the land on the road vs anyone else.

He has Clemson winning the natty because they have the most projected 1st round picks. One mock had them with 6

Clemson has a good roster and a favorable schedule.

That being said, if LSU plays to its talent and Kelly has them ready, it should be a toss up game, with the slight edge to the home team.

Clemson is very good and returns a lot of talent, especially on offense.

This game will be tough

The level of retardation that resulted in our recent opening games schedule is unbelievable.

And when you figure in the fact that all of this scheduling coincides with expanded playoffs making it less important to start the year with a marquee win and it's just incompetent.

What was your floor prediction for last year?

UGA at #11, behind Florida and Oklahoma?

I like Josh Pate, but that seems unlikely.

This game was scheduled in 2018. Clemson will come to Tiger Stadium to start the season next year. Yes, both schools could have canceled the game after the CFP expanded. But as a fan, I enjoy watching a great opening week matuchp.

Texas is opening the season at Ohio St.
