Really? You must not know how to structure a business hierarchy. Coach E will be on staff in some paid capacity until he screws up or wants to retire.

Why do you people try to create drama where there is none?

Do you really think after the year that Brady has had that he would agree to be co-anything.

I sure do because I don't think he gives a rat's arse about any title other than the National Championship title and them calling him Mr. Brady when he walks into the bank.

Clemson has co-OC's (Scott and Elliott) Meyer had co-OCs at Ohio St (Wilson and Day)

LSU had the rough equivalent of Co-OCs in '19... how'd that work out?

You can take it for what it's worth. Met an older hand at our tailgate yesterday who went to school with E and knows him well. He said Brady will be named Co-Offensive Coordinator for next year and then Coach Ensminger is retiring after next year. Said he never really wanted the job but would do it for his team. Whether he was full of it or not, it seems like a reasonable plan to me.

this seems like the obvious, non-dramatic solution. i don't know why people think SE has this "i am the OC now" ego

There is no way to know how this will pan out. We don’t know what Brady wants and we don’t know how much LSU is willing to give.
Maybe Brady will find what someone else offers more appealing: money, title, location.
It’s a business and career decision for him.
Let it play out.

They did just fine this year plus Coach E is the one that calls the plays

Mmmmm...not exactly. SI article following the Texas game gives some insight into that if you are not convinced, look it up...it's archived.

Bruh. It’s done. Steve is the most selfless ambassador in the history of LSU athletics. Quit stirring up shite where there is none for attention, whore.

Let's get through THIS season w/o creating any drama. Decisions are made when the time is right. Right now we need to concentrate on beating Georgia.

I think Coach E volunteers to step down, goes back to coaching tight ends and takes a reduction in pay. However i do believe he stays in the booth with Brady which i dont mind at all because E does have a smart mind when it comes to play calling.. I like the two of them together and plus coach E can just sit up there and dip while enjoying the view tossing around a couple opinions every now and then

I can't remember what it actually is, but it's about 10 times what you wrote (for Orgeron).

The current contract is also includes $1.5 million in incentive bonuses

The past two games, the camera has been on Brady 6 times. Each time Brady was seen with playsheet in his hand calling plays. Ensmingers had his mic turned up and playsheet against the glass. It was in the same position a couple series apart.

You really do not understand what is going on do you?

The insinuation you make seems to be that there is a conflict where there is none. No drama here, move on.

I think SE will voluntarily step down and go back to TE coach or some other assistant/consultant and Brady will be the new OC.

Remember SE didn’t really want to be OC in the first place

All of this. Why would Brady accept anything less if others will offer him more, as they surely will.

Want a way to keep Brady? This is what that looks like.
