No way he can keep both Ensminger AND Brady as OC.

Isn’t Ensminger close to retirement?

He can just give Steve a new title.

Have you seen the coaching page on LSU sports.net recently lol?

They are just inventing titles for people

They did just fine this year plus Coach E is the one that calls the plays Brady just helped modernize the playbook and gives him suggestions

E will be coaching Moss and Gilbert next year.

Hell, he can even sit next to Brady in the booth and dip all game.

I think SE will voluntarily step down and go back to TE coach or some other assistant/consultant and Brady will be the new OC.

Remember SE didn’t really want to be OC in the first place

If we win a championship, there will be enough money to pay everyone.

Why not? Ensminger is not going anywhere and doesn’t care what he’s called or what his title is. He’s one cool cat.

You can take it for what it's worth. Met an older hand at our tailgate yesterday who went to school with E and knows him well. He said Brady will be named Co-Offensive Coordinator for next year and then Coach Ensminger is retiring after next year. Said he never really wanted the job but would do it for his team. Whether he was full of it or not, it seems like a reasonable plan to me.

I don't know why people think this is such a crazy idea.

In fact, I consider it one of the two most likely outcomes.

Doubt it! Steve didn’t even care to be the OC to begin with so I don’t think he’ll have a problem with passing those duties on to Brady.

It does seem reasonable and thank you for citing your source and not passing it off as a fact.

You can literally see Brady calling the plays on camera.

Brady and E work so well together that they are breaking records. We need to keep them as CO-OCs we long as possible.

Do you really think after the year that Brady has had that he would agree to be co-anything. The dude is THE MAN and is going to want both - title and pay that go with that.
