Since leaving Ole Miss....
CEO is 24-8 and 4-2 against top 10 teams!

Some of the most successful people that ever walked the planet failures miserably before they succeeded!

Let’s all get on the CEO TRAIN

It’s amazing but really it boils down to 2 games for the fan base. The Troy game and the Notre Dame game. I bet if we had won both those, his approval rating would be much much higher.

If I'm being completely honest, I would absolutely feel better about LSU playing down to Southeastern and Tech if they had won those two games last year. It's a coaching trend that concerns me going forward that it could happen again. IMO, this is a very good football team that should be striving to be elite by putting these teams away and playing to that standard.

I bet if he had never lost a game, his approval rating would be much higher.

I get your concern. We all want to see impeccable execution for all four quarters. I'd venture to say the staff does, too. We are not there yet, apparently. But, let's not lose sight of the primary goal-- win the damn game! So far this year, we have achieved the primary objective in every single contest.

We should strive to do better. But, I like where we are.
ETA: and as I have consistently maintained, the only record that matters now for Coach O, is his record at LSU.

I would add the Florida game his interim year in with those two. LSU was playing a very depleted Florida team in Tiger Stadium with a chance to go to a NY6 bowl and lost.

He has his chance, and he’ll get a fair shake.

A sloppy win against SeLa was quickly forgotten after Auburn. At the end of the year nobody will care about a sloppy win against LaTech. Just win.

Mississippi State?

Fun fact. Ed Orgeron is 1-3 vs. State.

Yep, shite the bed vs a directional school and went for a FG on the half yard line. Awful decisions.

That Florida game was won everywhere but the scoreboard. LSU throttled that team. But everytime we went to score we fricking turned the ball over. We also muffed a kick....

I was at the State game last year. It was historically bad. I was also a student in ‘92 when State was just 1 of the only 2 teams we could still beat.

The football guru's of this board continually point to Troy and ND last year. The DL against Troy never rotated! Don't you think that is huge? We didnt have a kicker those games either. Converted FG's both games see us win.
The uneasiness among TD.com posters is that they are embarrassed and wrong about their predictions of Orgeron and Ensminger. They'd prefer 0-4 with O and E on the hot seat. You people are some blind fux.

What does this even mean? It’s a truism and stupid.
