Seriously, I'd like to hear the justification of how when half of your games are jokes, half are awesome, that averages out to an A and not something like a B.

well compare it to other teams schedules and it is usually a much tougher schedule.

therefore it is an A.

although this year might be a bit of a stretch.

our schedule esp the ooc is good for this years team. its not the toughest line up but breaking in a new qb esp ones that were going to be backs ups this year i think it works out. we do have some tough road games but its the sec you will have to play a good team sometimes. I would rather have a hard road schedule every other year than have the tough games broken up to split bt the years.

Good to see that you grasp the concept of OOC schedule.

no major programs play a tough ooc every year so get over yourself

Actually some do...OSU (with the exception of last year) always has a pretty good OOC schedule...USC is another program that comes to mind.

i said tosu wouldnt be laughing though bc of how they do against the sec.

Good one - very relevant to how shitty your OOC schedule is

Ok kiddies, I'm off to the Ohio State Fair - fun fun - so have fun bitching without me.

Also, if it's an "A" or a "B," according to whom? To national television stations, or to the LSU football program? The two don't have the same interests.

I wish that they would have added a minus to that F. LSU fans always make the excuse about the tough SEC schedule and the OOC cupcakes.

If you are one of the best teams in the country, you should have enough balls to schedule tough OOC opponents. Skip has always been a money hungry AD (I won't miss him) and if people stopped buying tickets to see the defending BCS champions playing NorthEast Central BFE Girl's School for the Blind, the AD would wake up and actually schedule games that not only LSU fans will want to see but also the rest of the country.

Yes, the SEC is tough. But there is no excuse for this year's OOC schedule. Maybe when we are left out of the BCS due to a tie with a team with our same record but a tougher OOC schedule, something will happen. The fans will be screaming about getting screwed and it will be nobody's fault but the LSU AD.

Having said that, scheduling two Sun Belt schools in addition to a FCS school says "frick you" to LSU fans.

i disagree.

it's an f--- you to people who are looking for "entertainment" and buying tickets to sporting events.

considering we swapped out georgia for kentucky in our SEC slate this year, and we have to take trips to florida, auburn, south carolina and arkansas (compared to uk, bama, and the miss schoos last year) i'd say that our conference slate is appreciably more difficult.

we've essentially traded georgia + appy state for kentucky + va tech from last years schedule to this years.

LSU FANS want to see the team have a great season. if that means starting slow with some cupcakes to get our bearings, so be it.

another point i like to make is that, up till recently LSU has charged the same for each ticket to each game. they have changed prices, although they still are not terribly reflective.

And Mich > UF, so no complaining about that game then.

Well, this will be our exception. Hope we can use it to our advantage as the Buckeyes did last year. Maybe if you get past USC, we can do that thing in January again. It was so much fun last time...

You mean kind of like what the OSU game was for us last year.
