I didn’t think for a minute that Casey was a legit contender. STRICTLY talking about on the field performance, hell yes, second only to Skip is hard to argue against. Even like for a Tampax Bay situation bringing in TBrady, we’d all take another few trips to Omaha and another Natty or 2 until he re-retired. However, Scott isn’t stupid. Bringing in PC in the middle of Title 9 lawsuits and microscopes being fully engaged, would be unnecessarily stupid. I wasn’t there holding the light and neither was anyone else on this board, but the court of public opinion would absolutely kill us.
My no one gives a frick list is: DMC/Vitello, and then Godwin. I’d obviously love Corbin, but gut is LSU is leverage for a bigger-er payday. So it’s prolly Bianco lol. First tho, let’s beat the hell outta Vitello and the Vols.

That's why most here or in the media have never considered Corbin a serious candidate. He's in a seemingly food situation at Vandy. BUT, one poster mentioned that he may not be happy with the administration, there.

Remember Mainieri had one trip to Omaha on his resume' when LSU hired him but was thought to be a great fit because of his past experience and success, just like Bianco.
