The median household income in America is around 71k and you’re questioning if Beth Torina makes more than the overwhelming majority of the country
Top 99% means literally everyone other than the bottom 1%

Seems like she has been here 10 years or so and made it to CWS 4 or 5 times.
She made it 4 times, but not since 2017. Since then she got bounced in the Supers 3 straight times, and now it's 2 straight regional losses. She's on a documented downward trajectory.

Didn't realize there was so much hate for her.
I don't think too many people "hate" her. Just because you think things have stagnated and changes need to be made doesn't mean you hate someone. I think most people would acknowledge that she's a classy and nice person.
You can't let emotions get in the way of business though. She's been here a dozen years now. The front half of that tenure is much better than the back half has been. Bringing that up to defend her performance is like bringing up 05-07 for Miles when his time was up in 2016.

Having to work does not define generational wealth lol

Coaches like her don’t get 30 year careers.
Sure they do. LSU fans are being dramatic once again. Do we really care about softball? No, we really don’t, but let’s sky scream because we didn’t win the title this year.

It’s not about politics.
If you wanted to use the billion other examples then you should’ve. Where is the post about Google today? Or the hundreds of other times beer cans have had rainbow flags on them? Yes beer cans. That was just a stupid arse. Comment to make. You could’ve said that about the US automobile industry getting its arse handed to buy the Japanese in the 80’s for example.

It sure I understand all that but she certainly doesn’t fit the current mold or standard.

If you have to work to maintain your current standard of living, you do not have wealth. You can have money and not be wealthy.

That is simply not true. The vast majority of people with wealth maintain a standard of living that they could not continue to maintain if they just quit working. That does not prevent them from having wealth. The way they achieve wealth is by working enough to make more than they have to spend to maintain their standard of living, and making prudent financial decisions with the excess. That includes, if they want to build for their family, passing on generational wealth.
Someone making $300,000 a year may well maintain a standard of living that costs $200,000 a year. If he makes sound decisions, he is accumulating $100,000 a year in wealth (plus what the previously accumulated wealth is growing). In ten years, he will most likely have well over a million dollars in accumulated wealth. By the time he retires, he will likely be able to do so comfortably and still leave several hundred thousand dollars worth of wealth to his children. He has wealth, is wealthy, and continues to become wealthier. However, if he simply quit working now, he would no longer be able to maintain that same standard of living.

Nick Saban is 72. Are we acting like coaches don’t practice their profession past 60?
Exception, rather than the rule.
