He talks too much honestly. He says a lot that's not true and it's kinda draining tbh. BK is similar to someone just blowing air at times and can never take what they say seriously. I like that he's transparent but it makes you look really bad when you don't follow up on what you say. Back it up or shut up. It's that simple.

I agree he talks too much. I don't think he's intentionally lying and the people who are against him often take his quotes out of context.

For example, he said all indications are that CJ Daniels will be back next season so now, if Daniels decides to go elsewhere at the last minute, people will say he said Daniels was coming back and he didn't.

Better to just say you'll address that at the proper time.

Do you really need an explanation or are you looking for another obscure opportunity to try to make it seem what he said was confusing.

Good grief. This is the most specific he has been about getting to a NC. And yes he clearly means next year.

I’ve got a receipt for two $400 tickets and gas for a 9 hour drive to watch Bama destroy LSU at home. Hopefully he’s taking those receipts, since they apparently played golf for the two weeks leading up to the game. Everyone on the planet knew Milroe was going to run the ball. Yet LSU seemed surprised by it.

It doesn’t bother me because pretty much every style or coach puts his foot in his mouth with the media except for BB who never said anything which I prefer. From his side though he’s very sloppy with how he interacts with media because he’s so obvious and inconsistent with what he says.

He’s saying say what you want, well remember it when we win a championship.

If he’s keeping receipts, then he can keep this receipt:

His contract says otherwise. Our only option at this point is to support him and hope he knows what he’s doing.

Well that’s not entirely true. Contract or no, if Tiger Stadium starts seeing 60-65k on Saturdays he’s not keeping his job.

Perhaps you should watch the clip. Firmly tongue in cheek comment, given with a smirk on his face.

Idk... but I see a lot of people are back to sucking him off again.

LSU won two games they were supposed to win to end the season and now everybody is back on the "He's the right guy" bandwagon.

Good chance he was referencing the Athletic/NYT hit piece on him.

The context: immediately prior, he stated “This team is 19-2 at home. Whatever camp you want to jump into, go right ahead.”

He followed his receipts comment by saying ‘We played 5 freshman and 2 sophomores on defense today. This team is building.”

I think he’s saying that people are criticizing the team for where it is, but not what they’re doing to get there, and seeing that they’re building something great. He and the team have taken, and will continue to take note of the doubters.

I think that his comment was a quasi bungling of the phrase 'kicking arse and taking names.'

I believe he was referring to (or trying to) the team overcoming obstacles put in front of them.

Kelly needs watch every documentary and especially every interview of Woody Hayes that he can find. He needs to lead and motivate his staff and players in the same manner that Woody did. Woody was a great leader and got the most out of his players every day. Below is a link to an excerpt from a BBC Documentary on Woody Hayes back in the 70's. Has a couple of interviews in it that are pretty fascinating. Funny, too.

I’m not talking about Woody’s offense so don’t come back with that crap.

My thinking it was simply a choice of words. Kelly could have every intent to have multiple meanings including notably the national media, conference rivals and their fan bases.
