LSU matches up with UGA better than it does Tennessee. Our secondary is our weak spot and our DL is good at stopping the run without having to run blitz. And we can get after the QB on 3rd downs a lot better now than when we played Tennessee.

We'll probably have to score mid-30s to win, however.

Of course LSU can beat Georgia, any given team in the SEC can beat each other on any given Saturday. Kentucky had Georgia on the ropes last week, and I wish they had won.

The TOs did LSU in in that Tennessee game. You can not have that many TOs and expect to win. I think they had like 5 turnovers.

Look at what SCar did to Tennessee last week and you'll find the answer to "Can LSU beat Georgia?" Easy answer is, yes.

Is it likely? Definitely not. UGA has one hell of a team. They sleepwalk through the cupcakes on their schedule because they can. They open up with relentless heavy artillery when the opponent actually poses a possible threat.

Sports media and our fans have been talking our Tigers up a whole lot lately. I don't foresee UGA thinking that they don't need to "hunker down" and take LSU seriously.

I'd love nothing more than an LSU win, but I suspect that such an outcome is HIGHLY improbable.

Seriously. LSU essentially spotted TN 17 points before the game even started. Not saying LSU wins that game any more than 3/10 times, but you can’t play yourself in a game like that too.

The secret to victory over Georgia is to score more points than they do.

We can beat them. Our defense should be able to keep us in the game for 4 quarters. This feels like it’s going to be a low scoring game.

A few weeks ago I would say an astounding no. But I said the same thing before the Bama game, so go's to show how much I know.

So I'm going with yes.

The other question to consider is, "If we beat them the first time, can we beat them again?"

If we get into the playoffs, there's a good chance UGa will be put on the other side of the bracket. UGa will beat whoever (Ohio State, Michigan, TCU, etc). So if we do beat them the first time... could we beat them again? It's hard to beat a good team twice.

Look at championship game rematches... I won't mention ours... but look at the rematch between UGa and Bama.
