He’s considering going pro so I wouldn’t exactly guarantee him to be back

he’s a good #2 to me. i want to see someone on the team make a big jump or a big time transfer. There’s no way we don’t already have plenty of rayon the roster though. i think Chris Hilton is set up for a big year as the speed threat WR3.

He doesn’t come up with huge YAC like the guys you are comparing him to.

Jefferson, Chase, Nabers were incredible after the catch.

I don’t see Lacy becoming a number 1. Also Jefferson and Nabers were so dynamic they were moved all over including a lot in the slot their last season. It just doesn’t look like Lacy’s game to me. Biggest thing he needs to improve on is his hands. BTj did it in one season so it can be done

Lacy runs beautiful routes. He fixes his drops he will be great

He is also pretty fast. My perception is that his drops are almost always him losing concentration on catching the ball and starting to look to where he is going to run downfield.

Even when Lacey catches passes, too often they’re bobbled. Contested catches are made cleanly..he will have to work hard in the off season just to get to BTJ level

This part is what I see that cements my opinion that it is a concentration issue. A contested catch means he has to concentrate. Same thing with the sideline toe in catches.

Not overly fast or physical

Lacy: 6'2, 215
Nabers: 6'0, 200
Thomas: 6'4, 205
Hilton: 6'0, 190
Anderson: 5'8, 190

I've seen him both catch deep balls, and take crossing routes and run away from people. He's fast.
As for physical, look at the size differential between him and the rest of the WRs. He's got 15 lbs on Nabers, and 25 lbs on both Hilton and Anderson. Go back and watch some of Jayden's runs, and you will see Lacy killing people with blocks.

If he can get his hands right, he's an absolute beast out there.

He’ll start as the #1 receiver, but he won't end the year as the #1 receiver.

Sorry - I downvoted by accident. I totally agree. He double clutches too often.

But LaFell and Bowe both had the dropsies early on…

The drops at key moments this year were concerning

Is it my imagination or did he clean those up very well the 2nd half of the season? I remember him balling out the last few games, with not many bad drops.
