We all know the Mannings were soured by LSU in the previous 2 generations. But the 3rd generation is here now & Coach O is heading to Newman to check in on Arch this week.

What say you?

I think it depends on if Cutcliffe is still coaching at Duke
and if Duke is still winning games.
Can you imagine the entire Manning family attending all LSU home games!

I'm sure ESPN would remind us each and every game.

Archie HATES LSU, Seriously hates, so does Eli. Don't know about the others but they probably do too. Old ms is the only place he'd ever go to.

No he doesn't. Arch's other grandfather HATES LSU, I mean HATES.

He let his own son go to UT. (and that worked out pretty well) Pretty sure he's not going to forbid his grandkid from going wherever he wants.

I don't see how the Mannings would mesh very well with Kiffin. They're football royalty, and Lane's been a train wreck at every stop. The only thing they have in common is Ole miss now. We'll see how deep that goes, but don't forget this kid grew up in Louisiana and just watched the most dominant offense ever known to man.

There is probably less than a 1% chance Arch would come here or even be allowed to take an OV

Probably get looks at ole miss, bama, Clemson, uga, and maybe LSU. I’d bet heavy money on ole miss given Cooper is an ole miss alumn as well

No he doesn't. NONE of them do. The "Passing Academy" would not exist but/for LSU.

Arch Manning has been an LSU fan since he was in grade school, that being said he will have a lot, and I mean a lot, of distractions pulling him in different directions.

If I had to lay a bet down on it with 1-1 odds, I would take the other side of the bet that he won’t end up at LSU no matter how much LSU wants to sign him.

If LSU gave a Manning a chance to get drafted, to win a Heisman, compete for SEC and/or playoffs and the type of offense they just ran, the Mannings would be doing themselves a disservice.
The real question should be will Arch have a pedigree similar to someone like Joe Burrow.

I just don't see it. There's too much Mississippi in those veins. Peyton going to Tennessee instead of Ole Miss was scandalous enough for the chandelier and tent crowd. Arch to LSU would be unthinkable. They're going to put the full court press on the Mannings for Arch. I hope his uncle is over there whispering in his ear to go out and be his own man, though.

I'm sure O and company are going to go after Arch hard and make him say no, though, and not just give Joey Freshwater a free pass.
