Unless there is a world where Nick Saban is knocking. We’re stuck with this clown.

All we need is a replacement for Sloan.

I think we manage finish 9-4 with a bowl win and BK will give us another two years of mediocrity before we finally move on after the 2027 season. It is what it is. 10 wins is the ceiling for the next 2-3 years.

He gone. If not at end of this season, then before the end of 2026.

I think a negotiated settlement might be more in play

Why would he negotiate? Unless LSU has a possible "for cause" (such as the realtor) that is debatable, there will be no negotiations. If it's clear cut cause, just can him. If there's no chance at cause, then why would Kelly leave any money on the table? Only if LSU goes to him and says we're prepared to fire you for cause and litigate it if you oppose it, that's the only way we see a negotiated buyout.

I can't answer with a simple "yes" or "no".

Do I think he will be fired? NO

Is it possible he resigns and agrees to a settlement less than 30 million? YES

I’m hoping there is a greater chance of this happening than posters here believe. Threaten him by telling him the NIL will dry up unless he leaves and renegotiates his buyout. He may do it to protect his legacy rather than having two really bad seasons.

Yep. LSU may very fell finish 6-6 or 7-5. Their only so-called "guaranteed" win is against Western Kentucky.

Yes lol. He will be in 2027 too. 2028 is the earliest he might not be the coach unfortunately

If he loses to A&M, Bama and Oklahoma, is he still here? What if a couple of those are blow outs?

Yes, very likely through the end of 2027, unless he absolutely tank with loosing seasons.

I just think the buyout is too large that what happens this year won’t matter

He'll be here in 2026. Why would he negotiate a settlement?
