He will have 14 outdoor games every year at the very least. All in cold weather cities, Wet/cold balls are an issue for smaller hands.

He’s a two-hand ball protector in the pocket so I don’t think ball protection is much of an issue.

But I think you see the lack of hand size in some of his deep ball throws.

Murray hands were 9.5”

Yeah and he's also the shortest QB in the league

My point was if they're going to overlook someone being 5'10" or whatever he measured as they're probably not going to let the hands kill Burrow.

9” is smallllllll for an nfl qb.

That might be true, but he doesn't have the other "stats" that would evidence this is a problem (fumbles/ball security).

Also, his small hands didn't stop him from being a pretty damned good HS basketball player (LINK In fact, he was first team all state (Ohio) as a point guard in his senior year.

I’m really hoping the bengals drop him below Tua. BDJ belongs in Miami.

If anyone is interested, here is every QB's hand size measured at every combine. Just filter the columns by clicking on hand size at the top.

Same size hands as Goff, Drew Lock, Tannehill.

He’ll be fine

Uh, he grew up and played all his life in Ohio. I think he is used to throwing in cold weather

So, he is same size as Matt Flynn and bigger than Timmy Hodson. Also same size as Jared Goff and Ryan Tannehill.

Miami has just as bad an offensive line as the Bengals, probably worse and their skills position players are much worse.

9 is very small, especially for a guy that is 6'4". He also said after the national championship game that he wore a size 10 ring, which is also small for his height.

My left hand is 9”, right hand is about 8 3/4

Interdasting. I never stopped to measure my hands before. I guess that explains why I can shoot/throw and palm a basketball better left handed.

So should 15 otherwordly games in 2019 (60 touchdowns, six interceptions) bury the evidence of 2018?

Should 2018 and a ten with season with a garbage offense overshadow what he can do with weapons and a game plan?

What is the significance of hand size? I mean if you can drop dimes from 40 yards out and hit tight moving windows on a rope from 35 yards out bigger may not be better. Maybe there is a Goldilocks hand size in proportion to other body parts.

Just checking the combine stats. Cole Tracy has a bigger hand size than Burrow at 9 1/8".

The combine measuring a kicker's hands should tell you everything you need to know.
