Non-compliance is one of the keys that an officer can use to identify someone as a possible threat. You can say it's not. But you would be wrong.

An officer is not entitled to treat you as a "threat' due to non compliance with demands. Perhaps you attended the Derek Chauvin Police Academy?

What police academy did you attend?

Clearly the one where no cops last very long

I don’t disagree with the discipline decisions by BRPD and I think that Koy pretty accurately described what happened in his tweet, at least from what I could see in the video.

If I had a right to be somewhere and I had a gun pulled on me (even assuming a valid stop in the eyes of the officers) I probably be pissed off too.

So I’m your view, cops need to wait for these things before pulling a gun. Yeah. Ok.

So refusing lawful orders should result in what? A "pretty please"?

How many milliseconds is a reasonable time to comply?

No from my view if your investigating a noise complaint don’t stop two kids in a garage.

“But they were acting suspicious”

Of what?

But he invoked the election and got political with the purpose of making his statement more proactive.

He had time enough to go reaching for his waistband...so maybe that amount of time.

So are we gonna get an apology from everyone who called Koy a lying POS?

They didnt. Watch the video again. The cop car passes multiple people, most black, and lets all the people go on their way

The only people the cops approach are two people hiding behind a fricking car. You think this is unreasonable?

There is a little exaggeration in his story, but I’m sure his perception is much different since he’s the one being yelled at by a maniac cop with his gun drawn.

That frisk was definitely excessive given the circumstances & the 3rd officer on scene was focused on his pockets for sure

They still are calling him a lying POS.

Even the ones who said the whole thing was made up.

And this is one reason why our country is where it is.

When the cops are wrong, we should call it out.

At the same time, if someone exaggerates and tells lies, we should call it out.

Instead we have people that blindly take up for someone that misled the rest of us.

fricking Pravda. You fricking leftists live in your own alternate reality. It in no real way represented what happened in the slightest.
