What about the CFP committee? They will not rank LSU in the top 12 even if they’re undefeated. They will definitely be judged harder than every other team.

LSU as an independent would become irrelevant as an athletic program within 5 years. The complete inability of most on this board to think rationally is scary.

Two things are true. One were getting railroaded by the SEC because they have a hard on for Lane. Two if we continue with this game of chicken it may ultimately end with us without a conference which would be an unmitigated disaster.

Have you ever heard of risk versus reward? It’s not worth the dang risk!!!!!! This federal suit is literally in Alabama!! There is a strong chance LSU will lose and face major consequences. I was all on board rostering these players until now. It’s not worth it!!!

I agree with all of that…but would add that the rest of the SEC has his back. This will get ugly. Discovery could reveal some bad things for all parties.

I think it’s 25% chance this is LSUs last year in the SEC.

Sounds like LSU has no choice but to let them play.

I guess you don't realize that if we don't roster them being that they won their case and now enrolled at LSU that we could be sued by the players too. I mean all of them that are enrolled now. See what's going on at Missouri now. So I get you might be upsset about this, but this is where we are. We're too far down the road to turn back now.

There’s also a very real possibility that if we pursue this we get hammered with sanctions and/or kicked out of the SEC.

It's not that realistic of a possibility. Money talks above all else.

The Mouse would be really pissed off if the SEC attempted to expel one of its most valuable programs at the beginning of an exclusive 10-yr, multi-billion dollar deal.

MFrs on here post like they’re a Morris Bart attorney. There is precedent on all this and the SEC and all the bamatards and olepisstards think they know the law. Keep pipe dreams alive girls. Funny how when their shitty schools needed the courts it was “oh the law..,,” Now it’s the LSU judge, we all need to file suit against them. What a frickin joke.

1. There’s a difference between what’s fair and what the reality is.
2. The SEC’s position is bullshite and there’s a fricking witch hunt for Lane and LSU.

Unfortunately, both are true.

Individually, we’re more powerful than most universities.
With the blue-bloods in our league, we’re not more powerful than the collective SEC - and their completely incompetent leadership.

Inevitably, if the players are added, I don’t think this will end well for us…

The purpose of the SEC suit is essentially tampering by Kiffin and LSU to set up the suit by the players.

What is illegal about a coach talking to some players that they should explore their rights?

The court enjoined LSU into the case, saying that we can’t use fear of retribution to keep us from rostering Harris or Wright.

Damn Right! If Lane Kiffin brings these players on the roster and lets them play we have screwed over the entire year! Imagine that we have the most amazing year since Joe Burrow. We will lose everything from this year if we play those players!
