Y’all know that the President of the United States takes vacations? Like, while our troops were fighting in Afghanistan. How many rounds of golf does Trump play a week? Taking two days off is not some crime

I don’t think it’s that uncommon. I know for a fact one of the strength coaches was at the beach in Destin during the bye.

President Trump, to my knowledge, doesn’t even get paid the 4-5% available pay that Kelly makes, and also doesn’t ever stop working. Much harder job that doesn’t have a season.
Even comparing Kelly to Biden wouldn’t be fair. Kelly is being paid for results. The president gets elected to hold a position that is incredibly hard, but comes with a few perks.

Of course more so just speaking to the culture. If the head coach did it everyone else felt is was okay as well.

Assistants and head coach recruit Thursday-Saturday of bye. Players and other staff are off.
Coaches might go to their place on the coast Friday after going to a HS game until Sunday night. Not uncommon.
