Ed O is no longer a part of this program and hasn't been for over 2 years. The roster is now (over)stocked with players. We are now into the 3rd offseason with BK and his system. We're still blaming Ed?

We are still blaming Ed for the last two seasons, yes! Next year is on Kelly. As he said, he has finally gotten the program stabilized after Ed hosed it up badly.

Yes...When you are responsible for the near death of a program you will have to take the blame for a long time. CBK has done an awesome job considering what he inherited.

Despite the fact that our defense was historically atrocious this year, House didn't forget how to be a DC. If it was all or mostly on House, I don't think Kelly would hesitate to replace him.

near death of a program

The drama worse than a high schooler. The "near death" of a program that nearly beat Bama and Heisman winner Bryce Young in 2021.

Yea the coach with the most wins in the country doesn`t
know what he is doing.NOTTTTT!!!!.You people need to get a life. It`s so obvious no of you have ever coached a game
in your lives.Yall dont know the first thing about building a PROGRAM and it`s sad that because this faction of the fan base didn`t want BK hired in the 1st place are the most
ignorant and emotional. Please for the sake of the LSU
players and coaches go root for another team.Your negativity
sucks.

9 regular season wins. We were never truly competitive for a playoff berth. We were out of it before the end of September.

most of us remember the KSU game being played with what was left after the O tenure.

I mean, O was fired midseason and not allowed to coach the bowl game. A lot of players had time to find new transfer homes. The roster had a lot of NFL talent that opted out because the coach they committed to play for was gone. Some players were hurt.

We had 34 scholarship players It was in shambles. There is really no debate. If O had stayed we would be a 5 win team over the last two years.

BK is filled with fluff and sunshine. We will be 2nd tier as long as House and Co are around. Need major changes to ascend. This year was an abortion. Don’t mention the 10 wins. We had 3 “quality” losses, with 1 quality win. Rest were lagniappe

This thread is peak Rant.

He is essentially saying: "The time for excuses is over. We had two years to build this back up, now we have to start competing for the playoffs and then championships."

And you dipshits are all mad

I don't like the sound of this.
The D-staff needs to go.
I understand that we didn't have the players in the secondary and even LB's. The DL didn't do great at helping out the secondary either with pressures on the QB.
I would be willing to give House and the staff another year if we saw improvements at fundamentals and improvements in play and overall performance throughout the year.
But there was absolutely no improvement and the schemes were terrible and the zone was horrid. This was not all on the lack of talent and speed in the secondary. Are you going to tell me that Iowa's secondary talent is so much better than LSU's?
The Iowa Defense was incredible this year and were locked onto Michigan receivers in the Big 10 title game

LSU isn't firing Kelly anytime soon.
