This was a pretty awful answer. You're the fricking head coach. If you think that's what you need to do, then let your opinion be known.
That answer needed a follow-up question. Should've been followed up with "then why didn't you?"

The question that Ed Daniels just asked and the way Kelly answered is all you need to know. He basically just told everyone there will be defensive changes

I wanna know why Weeks didn’t rotate and play! It seems like the LB’s were never in the correct gaps to stop the run and when they did, it was 5-8 yards past the line of scrimmage.

Brian Kelly just said that he has seen the progress that he wants to see on the defensive side of the ball and used the Army and Auburn games as examples. That was a joke of the answer.

Georgia and Alabama became elite when they starting bringing in elite players.
