Aren’t both possible? I don’t see anyone saying Nuss didn’t play well. USC kid just played better and got the job done.

Jayden wins you that game, some of yall still don't realize what you witnessed last year with Jayden playing qb. In 125 years of lsu football you never had a qb like Jayden Daniels

I witnessed Florida State last year, and the year before, on his 30th+ starts the year before, and his 40th+ starts last year....and he shite the bed both games.....I guess you don't remember what we all witnessed last year.....and JD is no JB.

Yes the frick he did. A 155.6 passer rating is nearly perfect you stupid bitch

When EVERY fricking pass is 5-7 yards it's frickING EASY TO HAVE A 155.6 PASSER RATING

We called plays like we were terrified

Sure seemed like it, but Nuss also seemed to be a checkdown Charlie in the 2nd half.

I don't know who to blame for this.

Nuss did actually. BK went conservative at the end of the drive.

Why do you think that was? You have seen nuss he likes to throw it deep..not one shot tonight.....

also, do you remember check down JD in his 30th + start the year before last.....he would not throw it deep no matter what.....he was check down jd......but you forgot that right? you trolls are unreal.....he threw for 300 yards and would have been more had bk not have decided to live and die by the run in the second half....you are a joke.

It was the only pass he missed all game and the receiver didn't turn around. frick off

It was at his fricking feet dumbass. The pass had no chance of being caught. They showed his face right after and he knew he missed it.

The next pass was basically a throw away out of bounds because he knew the play was fricked, but he could have stopped that. That’s my point. We had 3 TOs. That was a huge fricking mistake and he’s got to have more awareness in the future.

I thought Nuss was great in the first half and on the 2nd half TD drive. He got a little tentative vs the blitz after that and kept throwing short of the sticks on 3rd down, and we didn’t pick up any of them. Credit USC for tackling well, but he has to be aware and get the ball further down the field.

I never said Nuss had a bad game. I thought he played well and could have been great if he had closed it out, but he didn’t. When the game was on the line, Moss made the plays that Nuss didn’t. That’s just the truth.

Nuss played fine... only so much he could do with that horrendous play calling.

No, it's not you fricking ****. Nuss had a 155.6 passer rating. He was better than Jayden's first year in every way. The play calling in the second half was run run pass on every drive you imbecilic loser.

He made several great throws in that game. Putting the ball where your receivers can make a play on it is part of being a good QB. Not to mention orchestrating the game winning drive. BK shite the bed no doubt but that kid played really well. Doesn’t mean LSU didn’t give it away.

While you're over here slobbering over Nuss who had an awful 2nd half and couldn't put a game away with multiple opportunities

Wow, that's kind of a crazy statement especially because I clarified that he outplayed him "Situationally"
Nuss was a better QB today, that's true.
Moss was better in the clutch, that's also (unfortunately) true.

I didn't see one statement by you that the play calling was horrible by LSU in the second half....and was good by USC. No, you didn't want to go there...just dog Nuss. He missed a throw. He played a hell of a game, and with decent play calling we win going away. He just started his second game ever....remember JD last year against Fl St in his 40th+ start? yeah, you won't mention that though....and it says it all as to why.

It is the truth. It's not a shot at Garrett, it's just the truth. Sloan didn't help him in the second half with play calls either.

If he really said this shite, after they held him back in the second half like they did, then fk this mf.....he is a true pos. Nuss was the bright spot...what did he do, throw for 300+...and that was with them not allowing him to go long.......FK Kelly if he really said that...it was the gd play calling.

Ditto!

You dont recall Nuss missing Anderson on 2nd down coming out of the backfield? He might have scored on that play but ball was behind him.
