He's a mixed bag. Beat Alabama yes, but lost twice on National TV to FSU, Tennessee, Texas Am, Georgia. Almost got beat by Arkansas.

So he's 1-5 in the biggest games LSU has played so far with him as head coach.

Anyone remember watching Daniels against Arkansas and AM at the end of last year? By the end of the year Joe Burrow was playing like 2019 Joe Burrow, not regressing like Daniels.

Anyone thinking Daniels was going to somehow become Super QB was deluding themselves. Without elite qb play it's hard to make it into the playoffs

What makes Texas A&M last year a big game but not Florida, Ole Miss, or Mississippi State?

With JD LSU will not get to where they need to be.

Weird I thought he went 2-2 against ranked opponents

He beat Ole Miss and Bama and loss to Tennessee and Georgia

In fairness if you are going to mention Arkansas he did beat a ranked MSU. Most said we would not be in the contenders category for another year. Fans made it sound like this was our year. Kelly kept saying this team is a year away from contention. We played one game to what I think will be a playoff team. Tale of two halves. See how this year players out. I predicted 2-3 losses. This was one of the potential losses. We really don’t have the worst schedule this year. Florida is down this year, A&M at home. See how it plays out.

Doesn't fit the narrative.

Florida was primetime, Auburn was primetime, Miss State was primetime, and Ole miss was the CBS game so thats an additional 4 big games. Not to mention the bowl game.

You chose those games because it fit a narrative that he wasn't a Big Game Coach. Get real.

Because LSU was playing for sole SEC title AND to still have a spot in the CFP. That makes it a big game, and they shite the bed.

I mean UGA was still there the next week but one could say by the Texas A&M game it’s win this one and everything is there for the taking, as opposed to the earlier games where we didn’t know how things would shake out yet…. However those other teams we beat earlier mentioned were far better teams

The idea that Florida, Auburn, and Ole Miss games weren’t big is hilarious

We could have beat Texas AM by 70 and we’d still lose to UGA the next week

They had those same stakes on every single game last year.

LSU was an underdog in the swamp last year and won by 10.

We had #7 ole miss in Death Valley and blew them out.

How are neither of those big games?

You're adding TAMU because it was a loss. It was not a big game.

Beating Om, Fla and MSU made the game relevant...have to win those 3 first before you can say A&M was a big game. We also still made it to Atlanta.

the only reason that was significant is had we won out and somehow at least showed up in the SECCG we were looking at a possible playoff berth, other than that frick the faggies
