You're also assuming your OP is accurate. One guy who initially reported 15 mil/year recently said 10 years worth just over 100 million with incentives.

If that's true, I think it's certain that Woodward really wanted Riley. Once Riley and his agent made Woodward and LSU look like a fool, he offered a boat load of cash to the only coach that he knew would leave a major program. Brian Kelly is the furthest thing from a coach worth $15 million a year.

True and a winning coach (11-1 this year) at a major university.
