No. Alabama would not have beaten LSU with Reid, Minter, Simon, and Logan. Not on this years team.

But this is dumb to even think about.. on to reality and a bright future.. and it starts with Harris. I am proud he believes in this program so much!

I totally agree with BH BUT their's a reason they left, that's the problem. I know some left because of their draft stock at the time but the rest bailed because they saw '13 was gonna suck. I think it sucks that they abandoned their former teammates but they saw the ship sinking and they bailed. If half of them had stayed LSU would be talking NC, our defense suffered with inexperience this year and next year it will be our offense that struggles. '15 LSU will be 100% ready to kick arse!

Ok. If those guys come back, we have a championship defense to go with a championship level offense. Our offense has been very good this year, it's our defense that can't stop anyone. Maybe they weren't convinced things would improve at the time until Cameron was hired, but they also left mainly for the money.

We had all these guys and lost 3 games last year. Without them, we've lost 3 games thus far.

we didn't have Coach cam or an offense whatsoever..

this logic makes no sense.. if you add last years defense to this years offense.. that's pretty impressive.. but again screw the what ifs.

Let's here this genius response of yours numb nuts!! Fact is, over the last 5 years Miles has not been able to win a NC with or without NFL level talent. Oh that's right, that is completely unrealistic. No team could EVER expect to win one almost every year now can they.

So every school not named Alabama, with any NFL talent, should fire their coach.

They lose people every year and keep on truckin. What happened after McElroy left? They kept it going with McCarron. What's going to happen after McCarron leaves? They'll plug in another smart drop back pro-style passing QB and not skip a beat. They lose lineman on both sides of the ball every year and keep it going.

Meanwhile, Les apparently still doesn't have the overall comprehensive system (Recruiting, player development, technical coaching) in place to overcome loses like we did on defense. He's also delusional if he thinks we need to bring in DTQB's to "Compete" ( ) in the S.E.C..

I'm not him, but if you intend to fix an issue, first order is identifying the issue.

A whole bunch of circle jerking on days past does neither.

So why did we not win one while those guys were actually here?? Everyone points to the fact that they all departed to the NFL and that has directly lead to our fortunes on the field this year. But we did not win a national championship with them either. So what gives??

I mean what the frick? Are y'all actually ripping a future player for being positive about the team? Is this how fricking low the Rant has sunk? Why are some of our fans suck frickheads?

Excellent thoughts. Alabama loses players every year and keeps on trucking like no ones business.

Wow. The kid hasn't even set foot on campus and leave it to some "fans" to try to dump on the kid.

That's that Tiger spirit!

Bama went 1-1 in 2011 and 1-1 in2012. Media bias got them in. Not to mention bama beat all of two ranked teams in both years.
