I root for Harris and hope he does well
I will always remember we were in Walk Ons a day or two after he announced he was transferring to UNC. My kids wanted to say hi as they walked by, he was as cordial and friendly as he could be to them. Always thought very well of him for being so approachable. My 8 year old idolizes everyone at LSU, so it was a big deal for him.

There are a lot of coaches that didn't play at all, much less were an all-star caliber player. Think Will Wade, never played team basketball. Those that can't do, teach.

Good for Brandon. I wish him well.

I think we all know people who are in this boat, but struggle with performance.

Maybe he is better at teaching someone else how to play QB rather than playing it himself

Also had a pretty infectious personality. Good for Brandon. I was always a fan even though he didn't produce like everyone would have hoped.

Most coaches had insignificant playing careers

Look at Sean Payton. There’s a reason they start their coaching careers so young.

He was a phenomenally talented QB, but like you said he couldn't play in game. Was the best QB in the country at practice, but was an absolutely trainwreck come Saturday. Some people aren't great under pressure, and some are brandon harris...

If it were just him that struggled under Miles, that'd be one thing, but no one lived up to their potential under his regime.

That and the strange comments we heard through the years with the QB's "I played well, etc" makes me wonder what in the hell the coaches were asking of them. The staff seemed to "break" a lot of very talented QBs.

He went to North Carolina under larry fedora and even he couldn't make harris a competent on field quarterback

Maybe if his coach wasn't chasing tail all of the time he would have had more than 3 plays.

Wait, what was the third play?

Anyone who would hate on a QB that wasn't developed during the Miles era is going to be busy. Which QB did Miles develop.

I mean Sean McVay is their head coach and Jared Goff is their QB....my guess is BH won't really be contributing all that much

Happy for Brandon. Great opportunity. As a Rams fan though, it’s hard to imagine Brandon Harris coaching and mentoring Matt Stafford. Lol

After watching this interview, WOW. These idiot coaches set those guys up to fail time and time again with the shitty game planning and unnecessarily complicated system.

Uh, you do know the Rams traded Jared Goff to the Lions for Matt Stafford?

Which is stupid as frick considering that many of the greatest baseball managers—Tony LaRussa, Earl Weaver, Billy Martin—were marginal players. Hall of Farmers like Ted Williams and Frank Robinson weren’t so great at managing.

Nope, didn't know that. Been out of loop for a couple days.

Either way, Still BH isn't going to be teaching Stafford anything new

Very happy for the dude. Has clearly done a great job of developing into an adult and respected football "industry guy". Hate all you want about his playing career (probably mostly not his fault), but he is making something of himself and i think its awesome.

No doubt. Brandon is a great person and a high character guy. He handled a tough era with class. Very happy that he is doing well!
