He threw a pick to Zenon that was overturned, and the very next play threw a pick to Zenon again, which worked in our favor because the 1st pick was near the goal line and the 2nd pick was further down the field

The Irish-loving media couldn’t talk enough about this guy’s “courage” before he got plowed by the LSU defense in the 2007 SB.

It was as if magically he would overcome the obvious talent deficit ND had in that game.

Like so many talking heads, his arrogance clouds the comprehension of what kind of power the LSU brand has.

How sad for him.

Arguably one of the most overated QBs to ever play the college football, lacking the ability to be a sustainable NFL QB. The NFL saw this a mile away. I don't remember many draft days but will never forget that face as he was picked over repeadily then provided a private room away from the cameras on draft day

Fixed it for you

The only people who don't like it are those who have an axe to grind against the SEC. Stop sharing and clicking their shite...f'em

And don’t forget he threw two pics and only had 148 yards passing in the SB. JM lit it up!!! He’s a girl.

Quinn said that they would be laughing at Kelly in 3 to 4 years if things did not go well at LSU. Kelly will still be richer than sin and that's nothing to laugh at :-)
Did Quinn have a problem when they took Kelly from Cincinnati in similar fashion? Kelly did great at ND and he will do great at LSU.

If Quinn didn’t walk around acting like he was all world all the time people might cut him some slack. He’s a pompous arse.

Also Les Miles out coached that fat a$$ Weis that night. BK had to really rebuild that program at ND more than people realize.

JR and LSU brought ND to the woodshed that night, it was awesome to see!

I have seen at least 3 negative articles on Kelly since he was named coach. Guess Notre Dame is using their influence.

I would expect less than favorable treatment for LSU/Kelly from NBC

To be fair, when the bowl was announced on ESPN, I remember Corso saying Notre Dame got the worst matchup for a bowl opponent, and he wouldn't want to play LSU if he were the Indianapolis Colts.

Even Herbstreit and Davis were chuckling about how concerned Irish fans should be.

I had endzone tickets for that game, and all I remember is that everyone was open. Jamarcus was slinging it easily wherever he wanted.

Had we not lost to Auburn that year, LSU would’ve beaten Ohio St like a drum in the NC game. We can thank Fisher and Miles for that masterful offensive performance.
