Notice how all the awards were 2022. In 2023 he was on all the watchlists, but not winning a single award this year. He was terrible this year and was eventually benched until the new starter got hurt.

His mechanics are not good, he has questionable decision-making, and his accuracy is subpar. He would certainly not be a threat to supplant Nuss.

You'd support anyone over Nuss. Nuss has never started you dipshit.

He has a lot of physical talent. Would be interesting to see what Sloan and Denbrock could get out of him.

If he can’t take the competition he can transfer to McNeese

I'm curious. Are you actively getting offended by someone saying how Nuss would react? You know he's not actually him right? He wouldn't transfer to McNeese either. It would be to an opponent to beat LSUs arse.

Look, I say sign him up for the minimum NIL amount. He obviously wants to come to the Heisman House. If nothing else, he can at least compete with The Nuss Bus and push him to be his best.

I just don’t see the tremendous talent in Nuss that all you folks are so afraid will transfer.
He’s the best we got, by far, but he really hasn’t exactly been stellar.
Seems to me we need help at this position next year.

It’s clear we’re just looking for depth at the qb position out the portal

Plays for boise. Chill with those comparisons

You act like Boise is Div II or something. They did win the Mountain West this year.

This guy ain’t no where near JD. There’s some highlights, but there’s a lot more lowlights. I may be wrong, but I don’t think he’s SEC.

thats not really a thing though. No QB is transferring to be a depth piece somewhere.

The more obvious takeaway is they favor a dual threat guy.

Well they’ll obviously compete but this dude is not better than Nuss

He was pretty bad at Boise this year

Miami
BYU

Taylen Green from Boise State...No way he settles for a backup role.

Appreciate the link.

Green certainly has potential with that cannon and nifty running but Boise State also went 8-5 vs far lower competition.

Though Nuss hasn't played much, he has 2 yrs in LSU's offense and should up his reps and workouts w/the wideouts like Burrow and Jayden did their respective offseasons to build that champions' chemistry.

That said, if Sloan and Denbrock pick Green (or someone else), I trust they picked the right dude to join the QB room. But no starting job is guaranteed.
Let steel sharpen steel.

I'd like 2 know when the WRs and TEs pick up the "10,000 catches" drill in both spring and summer, then we'll all be less stressed when the games ensue.
