I hope he finds success in the relief pitching role. It was time to remove him from the starting rotation.

I’m really confused with Money. Was it the injury that set him back and he lost his confidence and got in his own head?

Money coming out of the bullpen basically says that he's done as Saturday starter.

Hopefully the new Saturday guy works out.

It was actually a wrist, throwing wrist. We’ll never know the real effect it had.

Never agreed with this premise about the basketball team. But agree here about Money.

Bianco looks like an mlb catcher, as well as Money is looking better.

Idk everyone else was pitching against the same shitty teams to start the season and they didn’t look as good as Money who absolutely cratered after an injury.

Maybe he will find his niche for the post season and get his confidence back.

I am pulling for Money, he has good stuff but has lost the mental edge. He may need the bullpen to gain his edge again.
We will need him for the stretch run as a starter or reliever.

If his confidence is back Money would make a good middle reliever going forward.

Send him to Mexico. Worked for Kenny Powers.

I think it’s a combination of factors mental, physical, and external.

The injury is obviously the physical, the external is the improvement in competition, but the mental is Money being visibly frustrated with the poor defense behind him and when he can’t find the strike zone. And, really, who can blame him for that.

Not necessarily.

Tuesday would've been his bullpen day, so throwing 19 pitches today wouldn't affect him starting on Saturday if that ultimately is what happens.

I think his best chance for success, is out of the pen for 1-2 innings on the weekend

I’m not sure about this. He threw 20 pitches (give or take Saturday) & the same last night. I’m not saying he is definitely still in the weekend rotation, but just because he pitched last night doesn’t mean he’s done for the weekend either.

Hillard had early struggles but those shitty teams we were playing see starters with 85 mph fastballs all year and might see 95 a handful of times. That 95mph is easy to blow right by them, especially early in the year. In the SEC its pretty much the opposite. 95mph is the standard and isn't enough to just blow it by guys while 85mph and good offspeed keeps people of balance.

Every pitcher in the team besides Money who looked like our ace till he got hurt.

Are you going to pretend he didn’t look better than everyone else?

I meam We saw a bunch of 85 MOH junk ballers in the preseason and seamed to his them just fine.

The SEC is just better hitters. He just didn’t have his stuff going early in the season.
