Kelly is done here. We won’t be making a playoffs with him.

No football coach has ever said anything after a loss that made me feel better and when you’re a team like LSU there aren’t really moral victories.

Losing sucks.
We usually lose because we didn’t play well.

All i want from Kelly is improvement now that we’ve lost.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.

Describes BK 100%. Sounds like a broken record on Finebum constantly saying it's his fault he needs to do better getting them prepared. Okay.

And just a reminder, you are all spoiled for expecting him to have the team prepared.

He should have said, the buck stops either me, I accept full responsibility, There will be accountability AND changes will be made. I will not tolerate this failure for another game. At this time I cannot provide details but wheels of change are in motion. Finally I apologize to LSU for what you witnessed..again I am making changes

That’s it WE don’t look like a Top 10 team and our offense has been so good since CBK got here. Now we have a Defense(albeit had to try and play 100 plays against a Kiffin offense) is almost impossible. CBK cannot get our shite in one pile, it’s like diarrhea it’s splatters all over the place. The worse thing is we lose all the talent next year on our finally reputable defense.

He won't say it, but the bottom line is simple - the OL can't block worth a damn. If we had an average OL, all of the other problems would be solved.

He’s been saying that after every loss for 4 years. Think of something new.

“I’ve gotta coach better, they have to play better.”

Which is it?

How about some specifics?

How about our play calling has been awful? How about we need reevaluate every offensive starter and will do that during the bye week? Best man wins.

Translation:

"This is a game we needed to go win. And I didn't get our guys in the right position, prepared enough. But what I really mean is those pesky players made me and my big brain coaching staff look bad. I wish I could program players like robots to match my genius."

"Coaches have to START coaching better." Said BK for the last 4 years...stop saying it and do it.

You can only "acknowledge failure" without fixing it so many times before they're empty words. We're on year 4 of these types of press conferences, which have happened 3-4 times each year.

Again. That would be the legitimate criticisms I am referring to. Why pretend that he’s making excuses. Instead, point to his continued failures and conclude that he’s unable to get the job done.

Why pretend he’s making excuses in an interview when he’s doing the opposite?

Woodward also hired Jay Johnson and Coach Mulkey. They’ve won 3 National Championships between them. I am not a fan of Kelly but I don’t think it’s a Woodward problem
