I don't care for BK much, but I wouldn't take that bet. He's not a horrible coach, he's just not as good as some think. It might be year 5 or 6, but he'll have LSU in the playoffs

It amazes me that people think all programs have an even path. SMU had the easiest P4 schedule. Half of the SEC would go undefeated with that schedule.

That's a dumb premise, there were years Saban didn't make the playoff, didn't mean the 4 guys there were better coaches.

If BK is an "average SEC head coach," then there have to be several guys ahead of him. Looking at your list, just off the top of my head, Drinkwitz and Kiffin are in their 5th seasons and went 9-3 vs MUCH easier schedules. LSU's SOS was top 10, those two were closer to #50.
Is that really better?

which again proves my points the SEC is hard enough.
we do not need a bunch of tough OOC games that can cost us a playoff spot.
SMU proved it. can make playoffs with easy schedule. we will have enough grind with the SEC. so yes we have a tougher road yet fans want it even tougher as if we may need it because they think we are back in tghe old BCS system or they just want to be "entertained"
