Non-trolling response: why are you laughing? We do struggle there, and Jimbo or Sumlin would have lost, I guarantee it. Plus, Elko reported that some players were still underestimating State when they went to play (that may be an excuse, and even if it isn't, it's not good for us because it's the coach's job to make sure everyone is mentally ready to go).

Billy is a notorious LSU hater. I’m surprised he agrees to come on their shows but I doubt he has anything good to say about the tigers of Brian Kelly.

except they always did struggle there, if you look at their history. MSU has been playing teams pretty tough, so it wasn't out of the realm that they were going to be in it for most.

they put up 31 on UGA, that isn't anything to scoff at.

Look, MSU might suck this year but make no mistake, they are playing their asses off. They are simply outmanned almost every game they play.

However, every team but for Toledo knows it has been in a fight afterwards.

We always struggle at A&M, its a legit concern they had.

MSU has been improving each week with some things starting to click for them. They dont have a defense but they've been putting up points so I can see why there was concern there. If we played @ MSU the week after they put up 31 on UGA I would be concerned myself something is starting to work for them.

People might look back to the Texas game and think MSU just got their doors blown off 35-13, but that was a 14-6 game midway through the 3rd quarter and a 28-13 game with 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

That is quite the 180 based on what you were saying before the game.

In their last 4 games, State's defense is averaging 40.5 PPGA.

Even if our defense, which has not allowed more than 20 points in any game this season (excluding the chip shot FG at the end of the game against ND, which wasn't their fault), were to shite the bed, State can't keep up with our offense.

As for the road thing...don't forget that we went into the Swamp and slapped Florida around, who then went into Starkville and slapped State around.

This won't be close after the first half, and maybe not even then. If someone has an argument why I'm wrong other than "A&M struggles with State and they're on the road and State played Georgia to within 10 points," I'd be interested to hear it. History doesn't matter; Elko won us our first true road game in two years. We've started 3-0 in SEC play. Georgia's defense is not what it used to be.

I admitted I was wrong, and I said that I don't like that Elko didn't drill into the whole team's skulls that State was not to be underestimated.

If I had known Elko would have fallen for the same trap that Sark and Smart did, I wouldn't have predicted a blowout.

If LSU doesn't beat A&M by two scores I'd actually be very surprised.

It's puzzling why BR shows continue to give this clown air time.

We aren't that far removed from this cocksucker making up stories about BK to hurt LSU's recruiting class.

And we were worried, rightly I would add about Arkansas because it’s always a pain in the arse for LSU up there.

Why is that funny, LSU people say that about Arkansas regardless of how good they are.

Aggie struggles with State at home too, maybe it has nothing to do with Starkville and they just arent really that good historically. Aside from the arse whipping in 2023, which was against the worst State team ever, all the games are close home or away. Aggie is riding high after a good win vesus Missouri.....other than that, there is nothing to worry about here, Tigers by 13 or more.

I really hope this is a repeat of last weeks performance, everyone predicting a close game and LSU blows them out…
