How is contested catch% calculated?

Does it mean he only caught that percentage of contested passes? Or, is that the percent of passes thrown to him that were contested?

Have to assume it's his catch % for contested throws...# catches/# targets while contested

To be fair to Malik… any sane person should always be strapped when stepping foot in NOLA.

Its the missed tackles forced for me...Malik is better almost completely across the board but that stat is a DRASTIC difference between the 3

It's not clear from that graphic whether Rome or Nabers should win it.

Yes it is. Just compare Odunze and Nabers without Harrison in the picture at all. It's not even close.

Nabers

Odunze

Harrison Jr.

Probably so, I've thought this all along, and he should be 3rd in voting for it out of those 3. There's probably another WR out there that had a better season than him.

YAC and forced missed tackles really stand out for Malik.

Malik has better numbers on a harder schedule. How is this even a contest?

If it's anything other than a unanimous vote, it becomes a measure of how much fertilizer there is among voters.

Nabers leads in 12 categories Rome 4, T-1..... MHJ T-1 pretty obvious.

Nabers is the best WR in the country and put up great numbers last year as well. He’s been the most consistent WR of the three.

Now let’s put up Jayden Daniel’s numbers side by side with the other QB’s in the conversation. They actually need to do that so everyone can clearly see Jayden is the best QB and player in the country by a large margin. It’s not even remotely close. They’ve both earned these awards and if they don’t get them, it says a whole lot about the validity of the awards.

These awards will mean absolutely nothing if they just give it to whomever they want instead of whomever earned it. It’s not a popularity award. It’s not a famous name award. We don’t just give it to the offspring of great football players just because their parents were great.

Yes, they’re all deserving but one of them is more deserving. We don’t give it to the person who’s done less, quite a bit less, just because their dad was great. If that’s the case then just say that so we know exactly why it was given to the guy who didn’t perform as good as the others.

Then we can form a new system of awards for those players who actually earned it and they can give it to all the players they like. Frick these clowns, all of them.
