I remember getting really pissed about that; now I can understand why an 18yo kid would have made that choice, especially in that era when Southern Cal was the only professional team in LA.

McKnight made this place his home again after he was done with football. That counts in my book.

RIP, Joe.

3. Wisconsin in Lambeau

5. Les' clock management

What is your list?
I won't torture myself by looking or thinking about this any further.

It was a long smoldering continuous melt

In terms of a personal melt, this was my worst moment.

Anytime LSU is down 1-0 after a half inning or gives up a first down.

This place explodes!

Sleeper submission: The gray box-like things at the top of the end zone project. It wasn't a melt but a nice slow burn.
Yes, the unsightly FEMA Trailor like eyesores the LSUAD spewed out at the top of the new South Endzone expansion are on my personal list.

They're still there, but painted purple now. (Paint don't help)

In fact, the entire SEZ Expansion Project was one big aesthetic disaster with that big off-centered "Great White Wall Of Nothing" on the exterior.

Who approved the designs for that shite and thought that it was going to be look good from an aesthetic point of view? (Start with Alleva and go down the list)

Biggest Band melt was the Roy King firing and the controversy that surrounded the entire fiasco. (Tiger Band vs the LSU School of Music & Dean at the center of the controversy)

Biggest melt amongst Tiger Band Alums (That wasn't so big on here) was when Jacksonville State brought their entire 450 member band into Tiger Stadium and just blew TGBFTL off the field.

It was the marching band version of watching Alabama play Mercer in football.

The entire Tiger Band program hasn't been the same since Frank Wickes retired and Linda Moorhouse left for Illinois in the middle of the Summer right before the season started.

Poor Roy King was massively "In over his Head" in that position and the program has never fully recovered to its former greatness. The band has been and is still in the "Mediocrity" stage under both Dennis Llinas and Kelvin Jones.

Half-times shows CAN be entertaining enough to make you actually stay in your seat and watch the performance, but it isn't happening at LSU currently.

A funny one to witness in real time was the hiring of Kevin Steele as DC. A classic Rant melt began to ensue. Then minutes later, the hiring of Ed Orgeron as DL coach was announced, and the board did a complete 180. The place absolutely erupted.
