Best unexpected is when UGA scored in 2003 and the stadium erupted in an LSU chant before we went on to score the winning touchdown.

I had season tickets forever and have seen everything through the years but biggest crowd explosion was this moment here and the blocked field goal in the 2008 Alabama game.

I talk about this all the time I was sitting in the second level of the south endzone right above the Florida fans. They were in disbelief and I believe they knew they were in trouble.

One of my favorite moments. It was incredible, after the screen pass for UGA just went was it 93 yards for the TD? The crowd and team should have been demoralized. It was the total opposite, we were not going to allow the team to lose. I remember Mark Richt even commenting on it after the game. He said he had never seen anything like it.

An unsung nominee is Justin Vincent’s long run to start the natty game in the Dome. I was in the student section and it was like he was shot out of the students.
But of all the other mentions, the blocked field goal against Bama was a feeling I hadn’t felt before. Relief, rage, everything. I was by a Bama dad and son, and he pulled his son in and sheltered him. He said it was the loudest he’s heard a stadium.

I attended the 2007 Florida and 2012 Bama games and this is an unpopular opinion, but I think the Bama game was more electric. No one talks about it because we lost. Had we won that game, it would be the game everyone compared atmospheres to instead of 2007 Florida imo. Obviously the Florida game was amazing in its own right and worthy of the way it’s talked about. Still bothers me to this day that Les played for the fg and clock instead of the first down when we had the ball to end the game right then and there in 2012 Mettenberger would have ended it the way he played that half.

Was there… one of those moments you will remember for a lifetime. It was so. damn. loud.
It was literally as if you had a huge fire and then threw 10 barrels of gasoline into it. The place absolutely erupted.
I was close to field level that game and my ears legitimately were hurting for that 90 or so second period.
Can only imagine how intimidated those FLA players were.
Such a special moment.

- the “USC lost” announcement vs Florida, and
- the blocked Bama FG that sent us to OT (then we lost…)
