Nothing in the last ten years is even on the radar. The Alabama, Kelly win was great, but no where near a top 10.

I was in the uppers on east side in 07 when usc lost. To someone else’s point… it wasn’t just an eruption, it was announced and then the noise started to build as the fans kind of kept feeding off the people around us. Then the players on the field went nuts and the sidelines started jumping, the noise grew… but then out of nowhere the band played those 4 notes and that is when the noise hit its peak

Don't know what a crowd pop is but I was intrigued by a stat that flashed up just after the Landry TD saying that was Mett's 8th TD pass of the year. In 4Q of game 9. I thought it must have meant the 8th TD pass to Landry but then I looked it up and saw Mett's season totals were 12 TD's / 7 INT's.
I had (thankfully) forgotten exactly how bad QB play was under Miles with a few exceptions. Wish I could have visited this board from the future and told them that 7 years later an Ohio State transfer would throw for 60 / 6 just to see the reactions!
Note: I'm not bashing Mett in this thread and realize this was his first year as a starter and the 2nd half of the Bama game was his awakening. Just reflecting that these type of numbers were our expectation under Les.

That game was such an incredible atmosphere and one of the loudest I’ve ever heard especially when JC Copeland caught a pass and broke multiple tackles and gained 40 yards. It was so loud all 2nd half when lsu dominated except for the last drive when Chavis let yeldon burn him.

From one of the most epic games in my time as a student to one of the worst (was my senior year). I walked all the way home down Burbank in the pitch black kicking rocks (lived off Lee and highland)

I was at both, and the Earthquake game might have been a louder burst, but for pure emotion the '07 announcement was the best thing I've ever experienced. Will never be repeated. I wish it were properly captured on TV, but CBS was on commercial and didn't really catch it by the time they came back.
