Yes, I would still take Beth over Deifel, congrats on going to your first in 10 years..Beth been to 4 in her first 10. Deifel graduates 8 seniors and a crap class coming in. Beth has the top pitcher in the country coming in along with the number 2 outfielder. 5’11 center fielder who can run like the wind with massive juice

What you have to ask is if you get deifel w lsu resources
Posted on 5/24/26 at 10:52 pm to Chad504boy
Deifel budget is the same as LSU and she makes more than Beth

Diefel has youth and enthusiasm on her side w a bigger lsu commit resources could be a great combo

and came directly from PG in a presser. Paraphrasing, Sydney will get a chance to pitch if she can learn to take coaching but that’s up to her. This was heading into the spring , it’s a well known fact that Berzon was not a coachable kid at LSU.
link?
i cannot find any of that anywhere.

In Coach Gasso's words "Sydney Berzon is going to get better than she is right now. I know that she is in a new program with a new coach, with a new training staff, we’re really working hard to give her what she needs and have the right people working for her,” Gasso said. “When that happens, and she's totally committed to the rehab side of things and working in the training room, but when that happens, you're going to see something."
she was hurt.

Also, which has built the program to be way better than when they inherited it. LSU was well established, Arkansas was not.
Since the COVID year, Ones SEC win percentage is around 680 the other is around 525…..
I’ll let you take a guess at who is which.
That would leave me to believe that one has a way more relevant program than the other.
Keep making excuses and believing what you think you see in your head, all they need is this, they’re better at this then them, if we had this money,, and as I said before….Keep on letting it shine.
Meant for Casual not you.

Yes Berzon was hurt but also not coachable..believe what you want idc. Most agree Rocha is elite why didn’t she get better? Why did her mechanics not change from the crap she was doing at the end of her career at LSU. The truth is 18 was correct LSU was ecstatic to see her go and OU knows they missed

This is nonsensical

Ropes, I got it you want her gone but it ain’t happening so try to make it better. The program needs money, you in? The next 2 classes are elite and the hitting dude has proven he can build offenses so give them a chance brother.

You hate to see it....

So that’s one of the issues, I donate. And to give more time after 10 years of irrelevancy is comical. I know she’s probably safe and yes I do want her gone for fresh ideas to take the staleness off this program. How much time is needed? Is 10 years not enough? What do you say in 2 more years after she has another elite class? Give her more time?
It’s ok to know that she’s probably not going anywhere but it’s also ok to know that the admin should cut bait.

So if you’re looking at it from a admin point of view , we are paying her mid sec money with a mid sec budget and getting top 16 results why make a move ? If you want a top 5 program, increase the budget to 6 mil, hire a Walton type for 1 mil, hire an elite pitching coach for 350k and keep Sandra and Neal at current salaries . Would you be ok with those figures? Does OU football benefit from an elite softball program, does it build the football or overall budget? BTW, Marissa Young is close to 400k and Duke picked up her husband’s med bills which was estimated at 10-15 million
