Top 16 team is mediocre..got it….Lane has never won a thing, fired multiple times, definition of mediocre his entire career yet most think he gonna be the savior for us.

By that rationale, Southeastern was the better team last year.
If that don’t show change is needed, I don’t know what does.

I got this same exact info from a very reliable person. Berzon apparently went home one off season and completely changed her mechanics on her own with whoever coached her prior to LSU and Beth was left to clean up the mess when she got back.
And Berzon pitched hurt for a good part of her last year here. Not sure if the mechanics had anything to do with it. And by accounts, she wasn't a great teammate with the other pitchers. Seeing her leave was not a sad occasion for anyone involved.

No. Bama was the better team by a significant margin. Win or lose.
Last year was a tough upset.
Overall the program is at a level where it should be for a school like LSU.

they have given excuses for 9 years running now. much like the miles pumpers.
she had 14 years to be ELITE right here right now. she has faded the last 9 years. she is NOT on an upward trajectory.
is she even worth 500k a year? ya think we cannot get a cheaper coach to get us these current results? i think we can. might as well save money as this current $$$ being spent is being pissed away!

I kind of agree with this statement….with the coaching staff that we have in place.
But if your expectations aren’t higher, then shame on you. I guess you’re part of the ”everyone gets a participation trophy” culture.

So the entire staff sucks ? You realize Beth was offered the Texas job before Mike White? You know that correct? She was offered Auburn too, you know that correct? Sandy has had head coach opportunities she has declined. Neal was offered the hitting job at Arkansas before DJ Gasso, offered jobs by Ole Miss, South Carolina, UCF, MLB clubs, you know this correct ? Taylor is new to coaching and does a great job. It’s a great staff, what you are seeing is the remnants of the Leftwich recruiting and I agree it’s bad for the most part. This will be the first class Sandy and Neal have recruited let’s wait and see. Actually , for the talent level they have Beth and her team did a remarkable job! Again, if you want to complain about the recruiting when Leftwich was here we agree.

You either have zero reading and comprehension skills or your just trying to discredit what the guy is saying because you know he is right.
Let's face it, the guy does make valid points. Adults shouldn't be bashing on kids for transferring, without knowing the whole story. He does have some inside knowledge about how things are done, because his kid played there. But he didnt say his kid had issues, he said he coached other kids that played there and left because of the coaching staff and how they were treated, he also added that they didnt leave because of playing time. From what know about him, he seems to be a guy that people know, he'll he uses his real name, seems to have people that respect his statements. So why do you doubt him, what do you think his agenda would be if he is just here giving you guys his honest opinion and seems to have facts.

Mark doesn’t like Beth, has bashed Coach Dobson, he thinks he would be the best hitting coach. I have no problem with anything Mark said however I know for 100% fact Berzon was not coachable at LSU, there is no disputing it. All I’m saying is everyone comes to a board with their own biases and Mark is no different and that goes for me too lol

Howard is a great guy, great family man and IMO not a great hitting guy. The proof is in the results.
As for me wanting the hitting job, your not wrong, but no matter how bad I would HAVE wanted that job, after what I have wittnessed with my own eyes, heard with my own ears, I would never everf want to work with Beth Torina. I would not want to be around anyone that has the ability to not only turn a blind eye to something so horrible and immoral, but to in a way condone it. Funny, I even warned her about this person and that it happened before at another job, and it happened again at LSU, and yet, she just brushed it under the table.
No matter how bad I wanted to coach in college.....and yes I think LSU is the best job in the country, and should be playing for a national championship almost every year. I had not just 1 daughter go to LSU, I actually had 2 graduate from LSU. I am also a native of New Orleans.....so yes, dream job. A job I would have and offered to do it for free.
I had the privilege of having Sandra play with my daughter, but I also had her coach with me during the summer. She is going to be a great coach. I also had Lance McMahon coach for 2 summers with me, another guy that is already considered a great coach.
Now ask yourself, why Beth surrounds herself with people she has power over

Dont know enough about Bryce, seems like a decent guy, but I think he has bought into the coolant and has a higher opinion of himself then might be warranted at this time. But I would be curious what MLB teams offered him a job.
Sandy will be a great coach for someone. Amazing softball IQ and an excellent teacher
Taylor....I have no opinion about her coaching, but did love to watch her play and loved the smile all the time.
As for the coaches that have left....I will juat leave it alone

I think the people "bashing" were assuming Berzon left for greener pastures...and lost. And, they are enjoying that reality. That's not really bashing.
The guy you reference alluded to mental health issues. He's the one who brought that up. I have no idea if that's true, but it was said as a way of getting people to back off Berzon. In my opinion, publicly announcing she had mental health issues is WAY out of line. And, if he lied about it, that's worse.
As for the coaches dating players issue, let's name names and discuss how Beth contributed to that. Did she protect the coach? Did she refuse to fire him/her? I have no idea if that's true, but I'm all for having someone like that held responsible. You are from College Station. You have no reason not to post what you know. Have at it.
I've always thought Beth was a good person. She's always talking about her family. It would surprise me to find out she did something wrong. But, the truth is the truth. Have at it.

He has said many times, he did not say she was or wasnt....it was just an example of nobody knowing what was going on with her and could be many things. But if your stuck on bearting that drum to try and discredit him, have at it.
Seems though the guy uses his real name and seems to have a good amount of knowledge about the program. Maybe you just dont like what he has to say
