Neal will be benched next weekend. He has more potential at the plate but was obviously garbage this weekend.

Lol, ill take this bet. He wont be benched, he has been productive at the plate and is super talented.

Milazzos average will be high than Neal all season.

Ell, I’m sure you already know this but Lester likes to cherry pick stats. Last year he used Neal’s OB% once his BA started to dive. Now, he doesn’t really want to recognize Milazzo’s .533 OB% because he doesn’t hit for power. He also thinks that no one besides Kling is capable of leading off, and Jared Jones is a good defensive first baseman. And he’ll never admit that he was wrong.

Yes. They even did a pinky swear on it, and God knows you NEVER break a pinky swear.

Neal will not be benched. Neal was obviously promised when he signed he would play. He started at catcher last year in front of 2 veterans. Now. Ole JJ has Neal playing outfield to make sure he is in the lineup.

Yeah sorry I fully expect Neal to be benched there homie.

Neal needs to catch one game and DH the next. He’s not an outfielder.

Amazing that im your first downvote. Really shows the idiocy of this place sometimes. Neal has a nice arm. Nothing wrong with trying to get him to learn RF. Obviously there's going to be growing pains but he has plenty of time to settle in. Now he cant afford to leave the bat on his shoulder if hes gonna protect White. If he cuts that shite out I expect him to play RF a lot on Saturdays

Pearson is doing fine ! He was one of the best hitters today unfortunately when he got on no one was on bag that has to change! Milazzo needs to bat more he’s been really consistent this year ! Can just play him one game that will change going forward !

So you think he makes up for 6 runs in the first game and 10 in the third?

If this is the case, then Neal needs to go to JJ and say I’m a liability, don’t put me in the line up until I’m a better baseball player

The problem is when he is having a rough time at the plate its almost like he brings it with him out to the field and loses focus. You see it behind the plate Friday and in the outfield. I like Neal a lot but he just doesn't have the poise of Milazzo right now.
